Swans is a once in a lifetime band. This album feels like the last 40 years of hard work, all smushed into nearly 2 hours of beautiful post rock. I will always have a soft spot for this band and how much they’ve expanded my music taste. In all honesty, they’ve changed my life. So thank you swans. It’s been a pleasure.
Probably my favourite album from them so far. Feels cool and fresh.
It’s relaxing, but all these songs just kinda meander and go nowhere for their extended lengths. For the first two minutes I thought I was gonna like this album. It’s a shame I thought it was just kinda boring and nothing special.
I think this is a good type of boring album. It sounds nice in the background, but there’s nothing really here that I’m dying to listen to again. I liked it, just not enough.
Strong summer vibes with killer singing and production. A great, joyful listen.
So fun and full of life at every second. Energetic is an understatement for this album. It made me so carefree and shit.
Consistently bringing you some hard ass coke bars over some slick, grimey Griselda production. Liked it a lot.
What a cool album. With so many ideas, most of them work really well. While it’s a little long and there definitely are some moments where I was not fully interested, some of these songs have so much going on and they pull it off so well.
Damn this album is catchy, powerful, and incredibly well written. I loved it all the way through. There’s just something about this album that’s so powerful and defiant in my eyes. It lives on, despite its troubles.
Cool little project that shows off what he can really do. Glad he fleshed out his sound.
Yeah it’s another cigarettes after sex album blah blah blah who cares? It’s just melodramatic schlorp.
I think this album is a promising start for Justin. There are some slip ups and I don’t think he’s fully found his voice. But there is so much potential displayed.
While it may be slightly too long, it has some great trap bangers. For an album that came out in 2017, some of these songs feel weirdly timeless. You could listen to deadz in 50 years and it’d still go hard. I wish all the songs had this. However, some of them are definitely forgettable. Not bad, just nothing to come back to.
Some of these songs I did not expect to recognize. Others were a lovely surprise. It strikes this weird balance between being creepy and really intriguing. I want to delve deeper into this world that this album creates, even though I don’t have an official way to play the actual game. If a soundtrack can do that, it’s done its job perfectly.
Good beats good raps good flows. Just a good album overall that doesn’t waste a second of your time.
Cities aviv is slowly turning into one of my favourite rappers. He always brings his unique production and writing style to the table and it’s always amazing to see.
I don’t think people are giving this album the credit it deserves. It’s a beautiful ode to house music. While it may not push the boundaries of her career, this is still mind blowing music. The samples are so unique, catchy, and perfectly tailored to each song. The slow moments also break up the pace in a wonderful way, allowing us to wind down just a little before going back to dancing. This album is really something special.
I didn’t know what to expect. But I ended up getting a fresh, hungry, and really well made hip-hop album from somebody who wants to prove his worth.
