Ambitious and dream-like. Arguably Ween's best output. It's off the walls nature can leave listeners confused. However, it's psychedelic sound is one of a kind. The differences in sound correlate well with the message that is presented through the writing. A lot of songs go underappreciated here due to it's bizarre sound which I think is unfair and kind of missing the point. Quebec has hits on here for sure that most listeners will return to within just their first time ... read more
Whitewoods are very special to me. I respect their ideals and I find their work incredibly nostalgic. However, despite some wonderful highs. Spaceship Earth has forgettable lows that leave the album feeling incomplete.
Incredibly beautiful sound. However, I find myself upset with the immersion breaking Moonchild and the strange beginning. It's highs remind me of Close to the Edge by Yes, it's lows rub me the wrong way with a sense of fake creativity.
I can't believe that this album is by Twenty One Pilots. Insane production and very catchy
In one ear and out the other. This album did not grow on me like I wanted it to. The Holy Shangri-la is definitely a top 5 Foster song IMO tho
Despite it's lack of innovation. It's hard to not find White Pepper charming and oddly beautiful at times.
Acceptable and catchy instrumentals (except the uke). However, horrific writing and immature vocals. This album just leaves you feeling bitter with it's cringe lyrics. Making it hard to enjoy as a guilty pleasure.
A very harmless and middle of the road R&B record that doesn't do anything wrong, but fails to bring something new to the table.
Fun and unique. Jack provides an album that has always felt retro and nostalgic without us having any prior memories of it's existence.
Radioactive synths that bite the listener in the best way possible. Excellent message and presentation. The fall off after Empire Ants prevent this album from being one of the greatest of all time.
A grim and bold trip-hop sound that sadly doesn't get reexplored by Gorillaz after this album
Shinola, my beloved. Beautiful, hilarious, and brown. With a couple of catchy pop songs on the side. A wonderful compilation that is better than several ween albums despite its lack of Interconnectedness.
Impressive in every way. I adore the Animal Farm influence and the dramatic nature of this record
