Surprised to see the score so high tbh. I don’t think it’s bad by any means and none of the tracks struck me as bad individually but a lot of this feels lacking the personality Billie typically has. It takes about 7 tracks in before I feel like I’m hit with a song that really pulls me in. Idk…

Honestly not a bad pop rock / country fusion musically but the overproduction / glossing of the vocals and instrumental kinda ruin it for me. Wish it was allowed to sound more organic.
Quadeca really needs to produce more peoples music because good god can he produce. Also Dev absolutely kills it vocally and lyrically too. Powerhouse of a song

Wayyyyyyy overhated. Sure it’s whiny and overdramatic… but that’s the point. A fun pop punk record that bears the looming hyperpop influence of his previous work.

While in general this album gets trashed a lot, I think of "modern" Drake, this is the most fun album to listen to. There are a few moments on here that drag on a bit, and obviously the rapping on the majority of this isn't exactly high brow, but this is an absolute masterpiece compared to stuff like FAtD and Honestly, Nevermind.

After a few records exploring more ambient and synth pop adjacent sounds, Bladee returns to the musical sounds he helped birthed, and proves why he’s an originator to begin with.
