Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
60

Surprised to see the score so high tbh. I don’t think it’s bad by any means and none of the tracks struck me as bad individually but a lot of this feels lacking the personality Billie typically has. It takes about 7 tracks in before I feel like I’m hit with a song that really pulls me in. Idk…

Childish Gambino - Atavista
82

An album I already liked but now properly finished. Can’t really complain.

xcx world

Post Malone - I Had Some Help
60

Honestly not a bad pop rock / country fusion musically but the overproduction / glossing of the vocals and instrumental kinda ruin it for me. Wish it was allowed to sound more organic.

Chief Keef - Almighty So 2
77

WIDE BODY KIT LOOK LIKE A DAD BOD ON IT πŸ—£οΈ

Dev Lemons - Why Did I Laugh Anyway
95

Quadeca really needs to produce more peoples music because good god can he produce. Also Dev absolutely kills it vocally and lyrically too. Powerhouse of a song

Bleachers - Gone Now
81

Easily the best bleachers project by a wide margin. Lots of fun bits of sound design and mixing to be found on here. Aside from the occasional moment that’s a bit too heavy on the nostalgia and too light on substance, it’s pretty solid.

Drake - Family Matters
80

not a bad response but perhaps still a little unfocused

Kendrick Lamar - meet the grahams
100

jesus christ this almost seems like more of an eerie warning than a proper diss

if everything said on here is true..........

rei brown - Aura
75

Cool to see Rei venturing into his own take on more hyperpop and club influenced sounds. I expect this release to grow on me as time goes on.

Kendrick Lamar - euphoria
100

Actually insane

glaive - i care so much that i dont care at all
90

Wayyyyyyy overhated. Sure it’s whiny and overdramatic… but that’s the point. A fun pop punk record that bears the looming hyperpop influence of his previous work.

glaive - a bit of a mad one
90

lowkey have fallen in love with this

Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss
60

she drake on my 21 til i'm savage

jokes aside, some good songs on here but is this really even a collab album? I swear half the album is just Drake songs with 21 there (sometimes)

Warren Hue - BOY OF THE YEAR
90

warren is criminally underated. great mix of indie pop, weirdo rap n digicore

Drake - Certified Lover Boy
72

While in general this album gets trashed a lot, I think of "modern" Drake, this is the most fun album to listen to. There are a few moments on here that drag on a bit, and obviously the rapping on the majority of this isn't exactly high brow, but this is an absolute masterpiece compared to stuff like FAtD and Honestly, Nevermind.

This is a Drake album I can put on in the background and enjoy, or even just vibe and enjoy. It doesn't feel like it's trying to hard, and genuinely has ... read more

Kid Cudi - INSANO (NITRO MEGA)
35

Got me sleepin but slightly less than the first one

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
40

Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby

Bladee - Cold Visions
95

After a few records exploring more ambient and synth pop adjacent sounds, Bladee returns to the musical sounds he helped birthed, and proves why he’s an originator to begin with.

The production mixes a lot of the sonics we’ve been used to for Bladee with super well produced rage, and the result is fantastic.

Bladee brings the improved vocal presence he’s developed over the years, and lyrically gives his signature mix of whimsical, goofy, and often oddly introspective lyrics. ... read more

Drake - For All The Dogs

Let that coochie breathe

Shake that ass bitch

"Lowkey the beat isn’t even that good. It’s just the bar has been lowered so much by how bad Vultures 1 & 2 were, that a half decent beat with a soul sample immediately gets glazed."

"I partially understand where you’re coming from, but the music on here is definitely more refined than the albums he’s done with similar sounds before, plus this is lyrically more personal than records like Cherry Bomb or CMIYGL by a landslide"
