Not an 8/10 like fantano said but I can't help but feel people hate a little too much
For a reissue of one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time, this is embarrassing. I pray this gets treated the way the Eminem show was treated for its 30th anniversary. That album got unreleased tracks, green lantern mixtape tracks as well as instrumentals. What did this get? 2 live performances. He has an INSANE unreleased discography so why didn't he tap into ANY of that? I know he might not have access to a lot of that but at that point id prefer he do nothing at all and wait for ... read more
Does Eminem even know how to do anniversary's anymore?
A pretty damn good soundtrack with some of his most underrated tracks
Idk what basis to rate this on. Every song here is GOOD but the rating is low based on the fact that we were promised multiple new tracks on this album and only ended up getting one. It feels sorta scummy, especially considering the insane unreleased discography that marshall has
The first album by the greatest rapper of all time is still fucking incredible to this day. You can tell dot isnt quite in his element yet but this is still incredible and keishas song is top 5 Kendrick
THANK YOU OSAMASON MY CRITIQUES HAVE BEEN ANSWERED.
I'm thrilled to finally be really enjoying an osamason project (still gotta listen to flex music tho) seeing as I really didn't like Jump out at all. This is exactly what i wanted and not only is the production leagues better and more consistent than that record but osamason sounds so much more lively and interesting vocally. Its insane how literally all of my issues with jump out have been answered with this project. Consistent ... read more
EASILY the best of the recent mass appeal 'legend has it' run so far. its nice to see that the mobb have kept their style that got them the status that they have with more modernised production. its no 'the infamous', 'hell on earth' or even murda musik but its definitely pretty damn solid. mobb deep on modern al production hits every time because it either sounds super grimy like on 'my era' or really luxurios on 'score points'. every feature ... read more
fall off is crazy. Im not talking about this loser either. I hate you for wasting a conductor beat
eminems production really doesnt work even though he is a good producer. even if ghetto gospel is solid, it still doesnt stop this album from sounding like a reanimated corpse
almost 20 years since they decided to stop milking pacs death (in the music world that is). thank god they stopped here cause i dont think i could have handled another one of these
mad bloated but as far as posthumous albums go, this is probably pacs best (makaveli doesnt count)
this critic rating is SUCH bullshit.
for an album arguably on par with all eyez on me, that album may have more hits but its also double the length. you can really hear pacs paranoia on a lot of this record and its even heard in a lot of the production sounding kinda eerie (e.g bomb first, hail mary, against all odds, blasphemy and life of an outlaw) and if pacs music does anything well, its showing how pac is feeling. more people need to listen to this record cause it is genuinely amazing
a remix album done right. brings on some very clear influences as well as close collaborators and provides so much insight on the original brat tracklist. not as good as brat, but its a great companion piece
the remix is decent but im curious as to what BNYX contributed to this beat cause this sounds SO out of his comfort zone to me
i've never seen such a negative page on aoty but its so deserved this is fucking hilarious
the best mass appeal release so far, but this shit is so forgettable its dissapointing. nowhere near the first SC
