I've never listened to him before but I was some people talking about the song so I decided to check it out, it was a great idea.
The lyrics are really well written and his voice delivers the lines nicely. A beautiful guitar takes us from the beginning of the song to the end, at first it's just the guitar and bass comes with the chorus to then hit us with a battery that adds a nice rhythm to the track. It's very pleasing overall and it makes me want to check more of his work now.
“Therefore I Am” is a heavy bass track with a sound totally on the opposite side of her latest single "my future", it’s raw and closer to the sound of her debut album ‘WWAFA, WDWG?’.
As usual, the vocals are super well mixed and I think the effects are cool, she tried on some autotune to harmonize the main vocal and I must say that it adds something special to the track that I wasn't expecting from her. The chorus is very catchy and it’s a calm ... read more
what happened? i think Aisha and Mia's rap are good but that's really it, the prod just annoys me, and that whistle, well,, no sir, no sir,,,
It started off as something great with "Feel Good" which is the song that made me want to check out the mini-album, then "Wheather" is also good. But after that we get "Starry night" and "Somebody to love" which I think are just fine but forgettable. Hopefully, we get "Mulgogi", a great track with the same vibe as the first two songs, to close the mini-album and it makes us forget about those 2 previous songs.
Oh so here we go again, their 3rd comeback since debut, and also of the year...
To be honest, it feels like they had a comeback last week, and that last week they actually had 2 comeback. They were still performing on music show until a few weeks ago and will have to come there again for this single for I don't know how long. Do they ever rest at all???? It feels like YG really doesn't want us to forget their forgettable music. 'CHAPTER ONE' was okay and 'CHAPTER TWO' was bad so I had no ... read more
i know i need to be more objective when it comes to rating the music of people I truly love but c'mon i really don't understand how you can rate this that lower than 40, like please tell me why and with sth else than a joke
ps. i know it's a simple fkn boring beat during the whole song and the bp formula but bsdhcjkhzgdbhsj her voice is great and she made some point with that rap verse ok leave me alone pls, thank u <33

Some songs are great, some are just fine and some are decent, she has the vocal capacity to do much more than basic stuff like that and she just needs to step off her comfort zone a bit to come up with a better album.
When I saw Dua and Angèle together on Instagram before they officially announced the collab I was so excited about just the fact they were hanging out together. I had high expectations for this song because of how much I loved ‘Future Nostalgia’ and how much I love Angèle, I think both are very talented artists with a great voice and the song confirms this.
Now when I saw the song was only 2 minutes 36 I was like ugh pls why. But after listening to it I don’t ... read more
I think Soyeon rap verse is great great but the song feels like a copy of "THE BADDEST" and now I'm scared the whole project is going to be the same. It goes harder and harder the more you listen to it.
overall i like it but i'm really afraid i'll get tired of it quickly, some of these are absolute bops and some well,,,,, yeah they're okay
'12:00' opens up with what is in my opinion, their worst intro. I usually tend to love their intros but this wasn't it.
Then the title track "Why Not" is sort of deceiving, just like what happened with "So What", they got us used to better title tracks that aren't this generic and sounds like other girl groups. It somehow reminds me of what Itzy do, and I like what they do, but that's the thing, it's already being made and Itzy started to get away from that sound in ... read more
It kind of reminds me of what could be on either 'Patched Up' or 'Loveworm' with its lofi tone. It's a nice song where bea sings with her guitar only but it tends to feel a bit too long.
On her debut album, beabadoobee presents both songs that are for when you want to dance and screams like nobody's watching and also songs for when you want to chill with a cup of coffee.
"Care" is the first single from the album and also the opening track. It gets us ready for what we're about to hear and reminds me of 'Space Cadet' with the rock vibe. I love the energy it has and the way it starts. The chorus is also so great probably my favorite chorus from the album.
The way ... read more
why does it have to be that generic and basic, at least the chorus is somewhat catchy but idk if that's good or no
The first listen left me quite perplex and didn’t really fill my expectations but after listening to it more and more, I can say that “Only Times Makes It Human” is growing on me and I’m ending up singing it to myself. It has that queer attitude that I love, and King Princess does a great job in embodying this attitude.
It’s very different from anything she released before and I can appreciate her for that as it was kind of getting too predictable. However, ... read more
'Gore' is a strong debut from the Belgian singer Lous and The Yakuza. It's a very cohesive album where each song has its own identity and story, all while going with each other so nicely.
The beats themselves aren't necessarily all out of mind and never done before, but they take the best of what already exists and bring it to the next level. The production stays quite simple and minimalistic throughout the project, but instead of being boring, it's very interesting and catchy.

I feel like I just heard the same song for 44 minutes straight, there are I think a few good songs such as "Naked", "Born to the Night" and "Belladonna", but the overall theme feels blend unless you're playing it loud. I think she has a powerful voice but the songs don't let her use it.
(PS: why does the chorus of "Kings & Queens" and "Torn" are that similar? like i thought they were the same song for a moment)
"It's finally here, BLACKPINK's debut album 'THE ALBUM'.
When I reviewed "How You Like That" I said I was scared the girls would get no freedom and that the album would just be a bunch of already heard before work, and I'm glad it's not the case. Jennie and Jisoo both worked on the title track and they got to try some new stuff without going too far from what makes them who they are."
"How You Like That" is to me peak "blackpink formula" and yes I really ... read more
