I do like it... It's quiet safe in lyrics but I do appreciate the instrumentals here, they do have some taste... Somber piano and guitar on sparks... Yellow is indeed cliche and does sounds like that band you know, but still I don't find it too bad or too much of a copy paste... I love High Speed, the way the guitars and whatever sounds starts off the album, it's good, I like it fr... 1st and 3rd songs are highlights though other people might argue... It end bit weak but yeah, it's still good...
WTF LYRICS SO ASS... INSTRUMENTAL SO GOOD... Man that Synth Funk mix is good... Great mixing too... But man lyrics are trash... Why do you need to do this?!?!?!?
It's serene, it sounds like the album art, like you can hear breath of the voice in songs, inner working of instruments and stray sounds produced by them, the sounds of shore or birds or trees here and there... Pretty meditative, small instrumental pieces in middle do sound pretty complete and actually add to the album in large degrees...

The arrangements on here are so great, lush, layered and actually get along pretty tastefully despite them sounding so raw, natural, not any compression or effects... Sufjan had one of the best production in the age of indie music when this album came already... The smallest of the songs add so much to the album, take track 11 for example... The flow is immaculate, the instruments are played in simplistic ... read more
