In this 1 hour 30 minutes album, there actually is like 40 minutes of great music, but rest of it seems so incomplete and so bland... If it was 40-45 minutes trimmed album, could have been so much better and great...
itza 100/100...
I love this thing here... back to back bangers after bangers... nostalgic grimy beats track after track... nothing matches this... the wordplays here are out of the world, fr DOOM does a goated job on lyrics and delivery, that jeweler bar on curls is so funny for some reason... the thick sinister bass on meat grinder, welcoming bassy and soulful sample in bistro, the hypnotic jazzy pianos on raid with DOOM's amazing personality showing up in the flows is such a great ... read more
Classic!!! No other feeling compares to the one I get listening to this thing... Sounds like I have been left alone in a rainy, cold, distant mountains and rainforests alone to survive and figure out meanings of each and every feelings a human can experience...
Such a nostalgic record...
I played it over and over and over and over since the time I found it out...
It's so poppy...
Lo-fi vocals and crispy guitars and groovy drums adds to the album...
It's by no means a perfect album but man it's so enjoyable, it's easy to look past the places in the album where it has some down sides because there's always something interesting and fun going on in the songs...
It's just so much fun...
On basis of fun and enjoyability, it's 100/100...
But yeah ... read more
REALEST RAP WARNING!!!
"When I started I thought I would hit it and quit it,
Now I am out to prove, you don't have to be Ghetto to spit it" - DEMONDICE
I planned on doing some pop reviews today... let's see how it goes...
About this album, THE TELEGRAPH gave it 100/100 and had it on #1 on year end list... That's all I will say
This is the overhyped one right here... Getting sufjan stevens vibes in mood and writing stuffs, but over these pop instrumentals which are less of hit, more of miss... She does deliver some good hooks but at same time, the album isn't something I will be so crazy about... This one, I don't like it as much as others...
Everyone has same thing to say on this album so I will leave it with a rating instead of a review...
I do have a criticism: The flow of album from one track to another isn't the best... It could be better...
It's sad the front man is leaving, I heard they got a new one from my friend, I am not quiet sure still...
But yes this is great... It's real GOOD...
1-3: Intro is crisp, no complaints about it, blends into Chaos Space Marine which is immense in it's chorus, at 1st it looked too fancy from outside, but digging into more listens, it makes sense why is it so as it's kinda enjoying good times for now as it's known that the bad times are on their way, It's Coming... Concorde has really great song ... read more
Most underrated coldplay album imo... Like it's quiet psychedelic, it's very psychedelic actually... Elements of electronics, better song structures (best structures on any coldplay album) are here... There are some weak points but the instrumentals and melodies on this one are very powerful... Like X&Y literally SMACKS, so psychedelic, it's pretty great... This is the most slept on one ngl... Their best one for me...
See now this is bad... You ain't getting away with this... I heard Everyday Life... It wasn't the best but it did have one of their best songs since Viva la Vida... I had quiet a few hopes and you gave me this... WHY????? There isn't any good song except last one (It's good), but putting one good song at last doesn't mean the album ends strong, the album ruined the last song I should rather say...
Same thing which was a problem on 1st album is the problem on here... The lyrics are hollow and predictable... But the instrumentals and performances do step up... They are 2 times more kinda psychedelic take daylight for example or 10th track... I do think A Whisper is unnecessary, why is it even here, if you have heard 1st 30 seconds, yes that's all you need to hear... Amsterdam is probably my favourite... And the album does carry a nostalgic factor for me so I do like it... Just take out A ... read more
