This may not be his best project but it really clicked with me. Excellent excellent album.
Edit: 80 -> 90. Tabula rasa feat. armand hammer is one of the best rap songs in a minute
Great vocal performance front to back
Favorite track: hush stay quiet
Turnabout doesn't really bring anything new that we haven't heard yet from HM. He's like 16 or 17 so he's still developing his sound and finding how to stand out from the other members. I see a lot of potential in him. Still I think this a decent album with catchy songs. Honestly his best/most outstanding verse is the very last verse on the album. Hopefully he continues to produce more interesting new flows like it.
Favorites: Till Death Do of Me, Where The Fire Burns
My first record I bought on vinyl. I have plenty of compliments for this album.
What is this! It's inconsistent, the monologues force emotion, the tracklist sounds shuffled, and it ultimately seems rushed and all over the place. I get the nostalgic approach but it could have been delivered much more elegantly. Though there are some interesting tracks, I'm disappointed.
He's clearly a talented guy and this a cool experimental ambient album but it didn't do much for me.
Midnights is decent to good. Most songs I find dull, boring, anticlimactic, and uninspiring. However there are songs that I enjoyed, those being the more energetic pop melodies. Overall, I think this album is a success but I don't see myself coming back to it.
At first it sounds unorganized and immature and sometimes unpleasant to listen to. If you're able to disregard this the instrumentals can be fun and enjoyable.
Favorite tracks: Nervoso, Alien
His first album definitely has a few solid tracks but it's also a bit dull at some points. And on occasion the mixing is awkward with elements that are out of tune and kinda unpleasant.
Parannoul is able to overcome the obstacles that come with an album being entirely digital and creates an impressively jam-packed project. Yeah there is a lot thrown at you at times but I like noise. The midi guitars sound surprisingly real and the emotion in his voice brings the album to life. The album cover is fire too. Really feeling this one.
Great ideas that are well-executed into a thematic, horror hip hop joint. Her best project yet.
