This album is a case of good instrumentals being tainted with seriously disgusting vocals. Ew. Cover art goes hard af tho.
Has at least half the album been insanely overplayed for decades? Is this record one-dimensional as hell? Do most of these songs sound kinda corny and downright stupid? - 100% yes no doubt about it.
Is it fun tho? - Yes yes a thousand times yes.
For me, Bob Dylan just isn't an album artist. That is what I'm coming to realize the more I listen to his catalog. In essence, I have three main issues with a large chunk of his work.
First, when it comes to his songwriting, he comes off as really self-indulgent. So many of his songs contain five to six verses and have a total runtime of five to six minutes.
