I feel like phoebe bridgers has so much talent and creativity and she mostly uses it to make super heavily multi-tracked vocals singing simple meandering melodies over simple little beats. She could be the second coming of shakespeare lyrically but if the music isnt interesting it isnt interesting. She has such a unique and interesting voice but it's so often smothered under effects that make it sound awkward or even dissonant.
