MALNEEZY - sisters

This is what it sounds like when your sisters shut the fuck up.

藤井志帆 [Shiho Fujii] - New Super Mario Bros. Wii Soundtrack
NR

The baseline in the cave levels is the greatest piece of music ever made.

TOOL - Ænima
NR

A few too many fingers in the ass for my likening, but still pretty good.

Souza - Get Rah
80

Perfectly describes the genre, "Hip House". I'd love to here more of this sound, further fleshed out with better production. Rapping is solid, they serve their purpose without being the focus of the track, which I like. The outro feels natural and brings the track to a satisfying end. Pretty cool.

Architects - The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit
NR

Suck it and see, you never know
Sit next to me before I go
Jigsaw women with horror movie shoes
Be cruel to me 'cause I am a fool for you

TOOL - Undertow
NR

Seems like everyone I know right now is relistening to Tool for some reasons, so I decided to do the same. This is basically the album for everyone who likes metal but can't get into the vocals. I myself being one of those people found it just as easy as getting into any other album. Maynard is a goddamn god of a vocalist. Must've been great to here this shit new. I only expect to go up from here.

black midi - Schlagenheim
NR

Oscar the grouch takes heroin and commits several murders.

Arctic Monkeys - The Car

Silly Man's Poetry Vol. 7

blink-182 - Enema of the State
NR

The vocals are more bearable here, but still a problem. The main improvement is the production and instrumentation. The bigger sound makes them easier to take serious, while making the sound very engaging. Adam's Song is basically all I'd come back to, but I can confidently say it's a fine experience.

blink-182 - Cheshire Cat
NR

This is by far the most terribly aged vocal style I've heard. The lyrics are so bland and...kinda awkward. The last song is literally them talking about pissing their pants. I mean wtf.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Laminated Denim
NR

Me and the boys when we travel time

death's dynamic shroud - Darklife
NR

Library pictures of the quickening canoe
The first of its kind to get to the moon
Give me an eeny, meeny, miny, moe
Or an ip, dip, dog shit rock and roll

Wednesday - Bull Believer
100

This is one of the most magnificent moments in music of all time. Best song to come out since 2018. It never doesn't amaze me. A truly life changing song tbh.

Courting - Guitar Music
NR

I be on the Courtship

This is great. It's nice to get some solid Post Punk, it feels like it hasn't been as present this year. Anyways, the lyrics on this project are a real highlight for me. Lines like, "I think me and Kanye might still have sex" are shocking, but not eye rolling, and I love it. The overall cleverness of the writing is a very engaging element. The sound of the project is generally what I expected, but the more electronic elements were a nice inclusion that helped it ... read more
