I need this shit in 2x speed

Maybe the most boring album of the year so far. Songs just start and then finish. Some Literally don't change at all from the time they start to the time they finish. I mean this is just some lazy throw away ideas album. They no doubt made Feel No Joy in FL Studios in under 30 minutes. Time Glitch was pleasant to my ears, just barley enjoyable I'd say. I can't say that any other song here is enjoyable AT ALL. Such a fucking drag of an album. You could condense the ... read more

PUP - THE UNRAVELING OF PUPTHEBAND
NR

There's no other band keeping pop punk alive like PUP is.

GOD I fucking love this band. As someone who's humor basically only consists of sarcasm, irony and satire, I had no idea I'd love this band. But honestly, humor is a very overlooked quality in music, and when an artist can show they're personality THAT much it makes the music that much more engaging. It's a big reason why I love Car Seat Headrest so much, Will shows us the kind of person he REALLY is. On this album PUP basically make ... read more

black midi - Cavalcade
NR

What the fuck is this shit? It's not catchy. It's wayyy too complicated. These guys CLEARY have no clue what they're doing. They should just stick to the basics and make something more like AM. THAT album is catchy, not complicated, AND has One for the Road

Pink Floyd - Animals

What is it with the dog features in the 70's?

BROCKHAMPTON - ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE
NR

The best send off I could've hoped for.

I still like SATURATION III more, but this has now passed the rest of the trilogy and their other 2 albums. At this point in their career BH perfected their form. There are just too many 10/10 songs here for this not to be one of their best. BUZZCUT is now my favourite BH song. Futuristic, Psychedelic BANGER. This was one of my most listened to songs in 2021, and it's still in constant rotation. Addictive as fuck and endlessly repayable. The perfect ... read more

THis WAS N0t tHE meTTal i Was LOOking 4

In my opinion, this is Pink Floyd's best. Everyone raves about the 3 or 4 albums that came right after this, but I see almost 0 flaws with this project. The first 5 songs are usually over looked by Echoes, the 23 minute opus that closes the album. While I do love Echoes for its ambition, experimentation, and it's ability to feel a lot shorter than 23 minutes (which helps tremendously), I feel like the first 5 songs are on the same level as Echoes. One of ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
NR

DUUUUDEE WHAT!?!? Okay, so I've NEVER heard a Kendrick Lamar album up until today. I've heard him in a few features which I loved. But I've always been scared to check out any of his work, I mean he has 2 of the highest rated albums of all time. I was worried I wouldn't like this cuz it was over hyped. HOWEVER I am so glad to say that I absolutely loved this. This is one of the best hip hop albums of all time, and on top of that, one of the best, and easy to follow concept albums of all time. ... read more

Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
NR

"Fillmore Jive" will now be a permanent phrase in my vocabulary.

I won't lie, I was worried going into this album. Despite enjoying their debut, and loving the personality coming through, I wasn't completely sold on the sound. And with this being labeled as a "Masterpiece" there's always a small part of me that thinks I should like it. However I am happy to say I ABSOLUTLEY see the appeal to this. This was fantastic. Really solid track list, of course there's a couple duds, ... read more

Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun - The Brave

i made it to the 3rd song

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran
NR

Edit 2: (86 --> 90) My only problem with this is the fact that the middle is a bit less enjoyable for me. The songs just don't feel as complete and as hard hitting as the others. Everything else is some weird ass hip-hop that I can only find here.

Edit: (81 --> 86) This is so addictive. I've listened to this about 6 times since my review, and it's grown on every listen. Some great ear candy.

Super weird experience that feels more like a sonic journey of different glitchy sounds while ... read more
