Maybe the most boring album of the year so far. Songs just start and then finish. Some Literally don't change at all from the time they start to the time they finish. I mean this is just some lazy throw away ideas album. They no doubt made Feel No Joy in FL Studios in under 30 minutes. Time Glitch was pleasant to my ears, just barley enjoyable I'd say. GOD I fucking love this band. As someone who's humor basically only consists of sarcasm, irony and satire, I had no idea I'd love this band. The best send off I could've hoped for.
I still like SATURATION III more, but this has now passed the rest of the trilogy and their other 2 albums. At this point in their career BH perfected their form. In my opinion, this is Pink Floyd's best. Everyone raves about the 3 or 4 albums that came right after this, but I see almost 0 flaws with this project. The first 5 songs are usually over looked by Echoes, the 23 minute opus that closes the album. I won't lie, I was worried going into this album. Despite enjoying their debut, and loving the personality coming through, I wasn't completely sold on the sound. Edit 2: (86 --> 90) My only problem with this is the fact that the middle is a bit less enjoyable for me. The songs just don't feel as complete and as hard hitting as the others. Everything else is some weird ass hip-hop that I can only find here.
Edit: (81 --> 86) This is so addictive. I've listened to this about 6 times since my review, and it's grown on every listen. Some great ear candy.
