Kanye West - Donda
95

Come to Life is one of the best Ye tracks ever made. Holy shit.

christtt - WAV
100

Four tracks, fifteen minutes, and each one stands out in such a remarkable, memorable way.

BRUHMANEGOD - Get Up Out the World
69

Cult Online is definitely the standout track on this little EP

The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
73

do you think they had two months to record Silverfuck because the song eeriely sounds like TOOL

Vengaboys - The Party Album!
87

This is a slept on album. If you like the flamboyant bounciness of Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom! or We Like to Party you're going to like this album. To Brazil! is on par with those and Paradice... is just a genuinely good sounding trance track.

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
65

This was unimpressive first listen. Check back later.

Also JUGGERNAUT was fire

Krimer - Blow Up!
89

I'm going to start including more Dubstep EP ratings and whatnot, as I feel like the dubstep scene as a whole is just...not talked about on this site (case in point this EP, which I had to add myself)

It's a fun genre guys, give it a chance with me!

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
86

As someone who discovered Minecraft from PbatGaming's Minecraft Movie (yes, the first one. Alpha V 1.2.2) around late 2010, the game means a lot to me. In fact, I'm still a regular player/watcher of Minecraft.

Mice on Venus and Clark are so genuinely gorgeous tracks that have brought tears in my eyes way more than you could imagine (Oh fuck, the nostalgia). But at their core, they're just genuinely gorgeous moments of music.

C418 went above and beyond for a game that went above and beyond. ... read more

Migos - Culture III (Deluxe)
NR

I have not heard a single Migos record but there is NO reason a Deluxe Rap album should be fucking 34 tracks.

This is pathetic Migos.

Bo Burnham - Inside (The Songs)
100

I won't say anything that hasn't already been said about this, but man Bo I hope you're doing okay.

EDIT: I lied, the "soundtrack" or album or however you call it has been in quite constant rotation since I saw it, and there are definitely some special moments here that I'd just like to highlight. I'll just add to this as I feel, I'll work on it just like Bo did. And it'll be wacky for a while.

TRACK FIVE: White Woman's Instagram
I wonder how many months this one took Bo. When it ... read more

San Holo - bb u ok?
NR

holy shit this is 20 tracks?

come back later ig

BROCKHAMPTON - ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE PLUS PACK
NR

So interestingly, as a cassette owner, this is DIFFERENT than the cassette exclusive version. Roberto's interlude was completely dropped for a JEREMIAH Remix which I haven't heard.

but yeah stream ROADRUNNER shit's fire

Travis Scott - ASTROWORLD
88

This is my favorite trap album.

So, I'm not the biggest fan of trap, and I'm assuming this take will be considered normie as shit, but there is definitely a lot to love and appreciate here.

EDIT: Decided to expand on this a little!

BEST TRACKS:
STARGAZING
SICKO MODE
R.I.P. SCREW
STOP TRYING TO BE GOD
NO BYSTANDERS
WAKE UP
5% TINT
NC-17
YOSEMITE
CAN'T SAY
COFFEE BEAN

WORST TRACKS: (I'm including a three way tie for once!)
SKELETONS
ASTROTHUNDER
BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Dr. Octagon - Dr. Octagonecologyst
88

It's been a while, and while there's definitely some weak points here and there, to say that this project is nothing but great would be untrue.

Wilbur Soot - Your New Boyfriend
98

i'm not allowed in disney world

TWICE - Feel Special
51

Local non-K-Pop aficionado here, and the worst part of the album is the random rapping. It brings the EP down incredibly.

BEST TRACKS: TRICK IT, 21:29

WORST TRACK: GET LOUD

Lil Nut - Nut on Nut
NR

that's Nut on Nut I'm Nut on Nut or something idk I don't listen to DaBaby

Justin OH - Welcome to the City of OZ
97

Now this is a hidden gem.

The first track was released in June of 2018, you can tell two years of work AT LEAST were put into this passion project.

With seven out of the eleven tracks on the album getting a nice cinematic or even full blown music video to fit the dystopian narrative of the City of Oz that Justin OH, just by working on the videos alone, has managed to implement into this album in a really nice, unique way.

And that's not even to say anything about the music, which you can ... read more

Kawai Sprite - Friday Night Funkin' OST, Vol. 1
93

Genuinely a fun soundtrack, although the Instrumentals are unnecessary and the fifth week's tracks are a little on the weaker side, still a fantastic experience.

Ecco2k - PXE
83

This album art is too cool to only be for a ten minute EP.

Also, I like the general vibe ecco2k is giving here, and it would have definitely been cool to see this experience broadened a little bit more (hell, even two more tracks would have been nice)

On JustSomeGuy's review of A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms
""While Maynard is just as good a vocalist and songwriter here as he is on Tool, I do feel like the alternative rock sound is much more generic than the prog metal sound that Tool goes for." I can totally see this point of view, but I think personally that Maynard just shines better here. Tracks like Judith and 3 Libras, to me, are more stronger and make me want to go back to them way more than a sizable chunk of TOOL's whole discog (and I love both)."
