This is the music Jincheng Zhang makes when he isn't busy stealing music. The songs are exactly what they say they are. The guitar is bad and so is the singing. However, this is one of his shorter albums....
Funny not in the ha ha kind of way, more in the you could torture people with this music kind of way.
To quote track 19, what is meaning of life?
Honestly sounds like something straight out of NCS (No Copyright Sounds).
The statement above isn't necessarily all a bad thing, as is the territory this project is kind of all over the place. However, this does lead to some more adventurous choices like the synth/dance pop influences on Go Go and Without You. On the other side though, everything is played so commercial and safe everywhere else making a lot of the songs feel stale once you get past the interesting segments. There are also a ... read more
It's really fucking funny man..... but I just know someone making her say this. Plus after it stops being funny it becomes borderline insanity fuel.
Delivery is mediocre. Bars are subpar. Beats are alright. Overall, not that good.
The imposter syndrome is strong with this one.

It's not the fourth one!
Well it kind of is.... anyways, anyone else hear the emerald finder sound from Sonic Adventure 2 in BERLIN? I'm nearly certain it is there at 2:05.
This album still kinda goes, just not as hard as The Flood.

Wh-why is the magic fading?
Some tracks like JUNKY and SWEET still have that immediate pull but I find myself noticing some of the lackluster elements as if they were in HD nowadays.
American based Reggae that lacks a bit in the songwriting department but in general puts forth a nice vibe. Feeling Alright and Attention Span are definitely the stand out tracks here.

This is an album. An album created by Colon Cancer and C.D.
By the way, what does C.D. stand for? Culinary dysentery?
As I listen to more Colon Cancer I find myself questioning everything a bit more each time. Is this some giant bit to create the "best" "worst" discography ever? Or is this larger than that? Is Colon Cancer just hyper aggressively casting a giant smoke screen in order to hide little gems in his work and will then go on to blow the music industry off its' ... read more
THE MIDTURED MIDETS DEMIDMENT
Heh, clever.... Really though not only is the sound on this whole entire album damn near the same, but it is also damn near identical to Midnights. This album really wasn't worth all the emissions into the atmosphere.
Yeah yeah, this thing has Fly-day Chinatown and that song certainly is a bop but I do hope that more people come to give this album a chance. There are certainly other songs on this project that hold up exceptionally like Bye-Bye Lover and Track 9 (アリスのレストラン). I love the scat-jazz style of vocal delivery on these tracks and they stand for themselves among the other tracks here. I've also been in the depths of a re-playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas and this album paired ... read more
I Want an Earth is a nice expansive ambient piece that actually has time to progress and deviate from the norm; while the other tracks on this project feel a bit repetitive and bland.

This album is truly foundational.... to me. Foundational to me...
As much as I get older and find myself cringing at a lot of the music I was into when I was younger; there is always something that seems to avoid to test of time entirely and return me to a much simpler time. Providing a good balance of heavier and softer tracks, the instrumentals on this project are certainly attention grabbing in both settings. Then there is Vic's singing which is really a matter of preference but works in my ... read more
I might have a bit of a soft spot for ska in general and I quite enjoy the raspy nature of the singer's vocals. Some of the songs I have rated lower do suffer a bit from too much repetition, but thankfully they run short so it didn't wear on me too much. She Got Arrested and Good Things would be my favorite tracks here by far with their much higher level of energy than the other tracks here and generally more interesting instrumentals.

Honestly forgot this project existed...
This thing isn't honestly all that bad aside from the fact that a lot of this project is just repurposed songs from other projects. Maybe JACKBOYS would have been a more compelling venture if it was properly followed through with.
