It's for a good cause, having the Last Dinner Party song be immediately after the BCNR one made me realize that the new BCNR lineup is basically a better version of The Last Dinner Party.

The thing about indie rock is that it's carried by the 1%, and most of the 99% try to emulate the 1% without adding much of their own thing. Most of it is pretty good, but there is too much great indie music for me to settle for "pretty good".

I loved Poppy's last album, but I don't know if it's because my taste's changed, I raised my standards, this album is just way worse than her previous one, or a combination of all three, but it's just not it.
Nothing here is really bad but nothing's really all that good, it's just passable.
