Can the singer actually sing properly? It's like he made sure to get punched in the throat 20 times before he started singing on this thing. I mean I'd rather hear an old ass man with pneumonia sing Ave Maria than whatever this garbage is. Whatever, at least he's pretty hot.

I really love where they went with this album, especially since Comedown Machine was such a drag in comparison to their earlier stuff. It feels like each song was really chosen to be on this thing, rather than just thrown on to reach 11 songs. Each song feels so special too, I mean by the time I reach 'Ode To The Mets' I just wanna listen to it again. Julian sounds like he actually cares on this thing, too, which is great.

do i really need to explain why?

One of the strongest openings I've heard to an album I didn't think I'd like. I really like her delivery, even though I'm kinda bored of the whole distraught-pop-singer-whos'-finally-taking-their-life-back type thing, but she sounds pretty good on this album, like she's actually a person. I know right, what a compliment, but there are too many boring ass pop singers who play the same "heartbroken" schtick every time they can (see : Lewis Capaldi).
