파란노을 [Parannoul] - After the Night
89

Unsurprisingly, this is one of the best things I've listened to this year. I neeeed Into the Endless Night on Spotify.

Lingua Ignota - DO YOU DOUBT ME TRAITOR
100

Undoubtedly one of the best songs I have ever heard. Also, Kristin described the new era material as unhinged, so I guess she's not done with chaos just yet.

Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust
69

With One Direction ahh melodies and a "September" (Earth, Wind & Fire) style brass section contribution, Fall Out Boy delivers material that is far from unique but remains thoroughly enjoyable and consistently performed.

Melanie Martinez - PORTALS
51

Not particularly great

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
85

This is just a rating for the new songs. Don't pay attention to my ratings the old songs because they're not updated. Most of them have gotten higher since CMIYGL first came out.

Liturgy - 93696
86

I really liked Origin of the Alimonies when that came out, and this was every bit as impressive. A whole lot of these songs are absolute beasts.

Cole Jaeger - High Voltage Jamboree
68

Cole Jaeger aka Cole aka The Album Expert released an album today!

This was a fun listen overall. I didn't fully buy into the style for every song, but I was engaged the whole way through. The production was pretty great and lent to some surprisingly charming sonic pallets. While I might not return to this much, I definitely appreciate the style and how it never lost my attention.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
87

Absolute banger of a collab if I do say so myself!

JPEGMAFIA - All My Heroes Are Cornballs
88

I remember liking and appreciating this album when I first heard it, but man has it grown on me. The production and Peggy's rapping make for an absurdly fun listen.

Yo La Tengo - This Stupid World
79

This wasn't necessarily groundbreaking, but the vibe and sound was immaculate. Very enjoyable.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
88

DON'T FORGET THE WAFFLE FRIES 🔥🔥🔥

Animal Collective - Chocolate Girl / Untitled #1
90

It would be sick if the new EP went as hard as Untitled #1 does

Lonnie Holley - Oh Me Oh My
84

Lonnie Holley is an absolute g. Underrated artist no doubt.

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs
68

The lows on this are less annoying than the lows on their debut LP, and the highs are more consistent. Decent project overall.

Don Toliver - Love Sick
60

Wow, I can genuinely say that this was an album! An album with songs at that. Within these songs was music and even lyrics!

Klara Lewis & Simon Fisher Turner - Care
77

More ambient music for writing. This was really solid.

Lucy Railton & Kit Downes - Subaerial
70

Just needed some good ambient music for writing. This got the job done.

"@Sgt_PuRpLe doesn't sound remotely like the Beatles, but...quality-wise I don't think there is much of a discrepancy when compared to their early work"
On Sammy Rae & The Friends - Chapter One
"Yeah, but that's not to say any of these songs aren't technically 90s. Just kinda a mix of my enjoyment and what I appreciated. My mom likes this group a lot and I honestly wasn't expecting to like it this much, but I definitely appreciated the dynamic nature of the vocals+instrumentals bc you don't find that often. I guess it just comes down to I don't think any of the songs are currently going to sit with me as favorite songs and I would only give songs as high as a 90 if they were relatively some of the best I'd ever heard."
