So the latest Young Nudy mixtape Anyways was a tape that I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. Prior to this project Nudy never really impressed me whenever I heard him, especially on features and that collab album that he worked on with Pi'erre Bourne, he just came off to me as another run of the mill trap rapper that didn't really have much in the way of an original style but after this my perspective changed for the better.
Anyways shows that Young Nudy as a rapper has some great ... read more
Today I was thinking back when I first listened to Eversince and I thought to myself, was I being too harsh? Short answer yes I gave it a 2 for fuck sake. After talking to some people and getting their point of view on Bladee's music I started to understand the appeal. Bladee is a divisive character as you'll either love him or you'll hate him and I was on the side of hating on Bladee but after another go at his music I would say that it's slowly growing one me, but It's just not there yet.

Truth be told I haven't listened to all of Abel's albums, just the first two so going into this I wasn't sure what to expect, the singles were really interesting and they kept me intrigued so I knew I had to check it out and after hearing this all I have to say is..... wow.
This is easily one of the best albums that came out this year and as of right now it is my favourite project the Weeknd has released but I have a lot to get through. This is such a quality album from a massive mainstream ... read more
So this is just a bunch of B-Sides masquerading as a sequel to an already good Uzi tape. The only thing I really like about this is the opening track some of Pi'erre Bourne's production and Thuggers appearances but Uzi himself was so uninteresting. The features weren't awful (except for Yung Nudy's verse, it was awful) and majority of the production was passable bar Pierre who had some great beats
Well that was disappointing. I had high hopes going into this album considering how much I really liked Donny Womack, but after finally hearing it I was extremely disappointed
The production isn't as good as it was on Donny Womack, don't get me wrong it's good and it has some cool traits to it but feels very lifeless and it just kinda blends together and becomes non-distinct after the first three tracks. Don Toliver adding little to no energy into these beats a lot of the time doesn't help ... read more
So on my first listen I'm just gonna go ahead and say this is by far Uzi's best project and it's one of the funnest albums I've listened to in a long time.
The whole atmosphere of this album is otherworldly and futuristic in terms of production, I like the consistency of it and it still has the same Lil Uzi feel from projects like Luv Is Rage 2 and Lil Uzi Vert vs the World. Although not being a fully consistent album with three songs I don't care for it's a solid tracklist. Uzi handles ... read more
So, this my first introduction into the realm of K-Pop after years of refusing so give it a chance. I never gave it a chance for the simple fact that I was extremely closed minded to a lot of genres and specifically ones that some extremely toxic fan-bases, hence why K-Pop was a no go for me.
After listening to this album I can say that there are some great highlights throughout especially in the performances from each of the groups members and a lot of well groomed and fantastic production, ... read more

Am I missing something or was this supposed to keep me interested?
Royce returns with The Allegory after two years and all I can say is that I'm satisfied with this album but it has some questionable messages.
Firstly he's an anti-vax advocate which is definitely one of the stupidest things that people advocate for, it's irresponsible and wrong so when he mentioned it in his lyrics I was both cringing and annoyed.
Secondly he suffers from post-Eminem Kamikaze syndrome which essentially means he's talking down on modern day rappers for the music they make ... read more
It's a decent enough project, it's nothing really innovative or unique in any way but it has it's fair share of highlights. The issue for me was Thaiboys delivery, it felt very flat and unenthused and that kinda made some of the tracks seem longer than they actually were . The production was decent and a lot of it is very enjoyable. The features were ok, nothing great or mind-blowing or ear grating thankfully.
Best tracks: Legendary Member, Kiss Me Through the Scope and Baby
Worst tracks: ... read more
Although it's a bit of an underwhelming listen for Tame Impala standards, it's still a good project. We still get what we expect from Kevin Parker and we have some amazing highlights such as On Track and Borderline. We still get the feeling of isolation going through this long tunnel but at the end of that tunnel we get a glimmer of hope
Best Tracks: Borderline, Posthumous Forgiveness, On Track and One More Hour
Worst Tracks: Breathe Deeper, Is It True and Glimmer
This grew off me heavy
Best tracks: Bloom, Lotus Flower
Worst Track: Feral
Lil Baby as a whole is just another run of the mill generic trap rapper that has a unique voice and chooses to do nothing with it. This project has some extremely bland trap production and Baby crooning with little to no energy doesn't help, they just culminate to make another boring forgettable trap record
The first two tracks were promising, but after that it just became extremely unmemorable. Production is very bland and generic trap that's one dimensional as hell and in typical Lil Wayne fashion theres some corny lyrics here and there. Not to completely discredit him, there are some clever bars and great beats here that make for great songs but the length of the album, the inconsistency and blandness of it isn't really convincing me to come back to it any time soon.
