An artistic improvement. Ripping away from the mass making his voice unique and sticking with a horror style throughout the album.
FILLED with absolute BANGERS which makes me want to overthrow the government.
Favourite songs: Black Balloons, Sirens, Vengeance
The raw emotion combined with the intricate production astounds me. This story of betrayal and becoming famous is gripping.
Favourite song: ULT
Actually perfect for looking at weird images on the internet.
I do like the vampire beats a lot.
This song constantly changes, sometimes subtly and sometimes obviously. The instruments and melodies react to the lyrics in interesting and engaging ways. Knowing the history of The Microphones this was a very nostalgic and interesting deep dive into Phil Elverum's past with his music.
This project paints very vivid images in my head. Fiona uses her voice in a very literal sense, if she is describing her perspective as a child she will talk like a child. We know when she is annoyed, happy, sad or mad. She masterfully uses this in her storytelling of her life as she takes responsibility in her life and starts making a change for her well being.
First starting out unsure of exactly where to head, however having friends which saw potential in her made her set on climbing this ... read more
One of the most impressive, heart wrenching and beautiful songs I've ever heard. There are very few pieces of media which can fully immerse me in another world in a matter of seconds. I am fully sent back to the time in my life where I was coming to terms with myself that I hated what I was doing and fully broke out of that lifestyle, it was extremely difficult and scary and I'm glad this song was here to help me during that time. I owe this song everything.

Ohh damn.
This project impressed me a ton. The dreamy atmosphere that Fishmans builds throughout this album is something that keeps me calm to my core.
ナイトクルージング is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a while and if all the songs kept up to that standard then this would get a perfect score. The songs samples and vocal effects are really interesting and it works really well.
"Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah- Ah-"
Edit: How?
Constant energy and creativity. Beautiful instruments and the transitioning into different songs are awesome.
These collection of songs are catchy, grand and impressive.
Most of the songs on this project don't reach the perfectionist detail as the Glow pt. 2 however there are very entertaining ideas which I know I'll come back to and appreciate even more than I do now.
Favourite tracks: Weird Storm, I Lost My Wind, I Can't Believe You Actually Died, The Moon (Acoustic) (Obviously),
Really detailed tracks makes every song feel alive, alive in the sense of the heavy breathing, uncomfortable positions, feint heartbeat, so on.
Favourite tracks: The Pull, The Glow, Karl Blau, The Gleam, The Breeze, Between Your Ear and the Other Ear, Organs
I like this one.
The entire project seems to keep it's creativity throughout the entire run.
Mixing addicting pop choruses and instruments with more country aesthetics is really interesting as well.
This is a beautiful and thoughtful experience which went places I wasn't expecting. Interesting ideas all around this project, some seemed to be a bit much at times for my personal tastes. However there are some solid fucking songs which made me fall in my chair thinking about life.
Favourite song: Child Soldier
K/DA have the skills needed to create something actually incredible and they showed that with their single POP/STARS however I feel like in this EP there was no real urge to differ themselves from other artists making their songs feel more forgettable.
Voices are on point but I feel like some of the choices in songwriting and production can be awkward at times and so basic at other points.
I love the beat switches they pull off and the korean rapping is actual fire. I'll Show You was an ... read more
Every. Song. SLAPS,
Everything leads up to a beautiful poem and conversation about black culture and the music industry.
There is so much talent and innovation in this one project, also taking in this came out in the late 60's I can't even comprehend just-- AHHHH.
Mount Eerie. A mountain everyone will have to climb.
In my eyes I see Mount Eerie as all the major problems in ones life that every human has to tackle and it's beautiful.
This long song pushed me to think more about parts of my life I didn't want to think about.
Where do I belong? Knowing love is out there. I will die one day.
I know there will be a time in the long future where this album will reveal another aspect to me when the time has come for me to understand it and relate to it.
The first four songs back to back alone are 10/10 no question holy shit. The rest of the songs are still absolute JAMS but not to the godly extent some of the other songs are.
