Confusion then disorientation. Remembering the dead. Trapped in the past although you're in the present. The fear of missing out the future you know you are never going to experience. The Caretaker continues to hit all of these strange and depressing emotions that no other artist can achieve. With the experience from creating "Everywhere at the end of time" The Caretaker is able to make this album more gripping urging me to stay longer than I planned. Horrifying as usual.
One of the best rock albums ever in amazing quality
Run The Jewels has come back as the orchestral soundtrack of 2020 inspiring its listeners to fight against injustice.
Controlling Crowds is very much an epic. Very nostalgic for me. Other than that, I love the vocals and the production. Somehow years after listening to this album I can hum the tune of almost every song. It's incredible how the songs meld into each other. I love the approach to this remix album. The remixes makes 1000 gecs feel fresh and nostalgic. It's quite literally 1000 gecs with more personality and extra songs. The absolute insanity of the mixing and the lyrics makes me feel like I'm on a high. Saying all this it does disappoint me that some of the remixes don't fit the absurdity levels or creativity required to be in a 100 gecs album imo.

Lots of enjoyable songs, but in the context of the whole album some of the songs don't particularly mesh together imo.
Great and relevant themes and cool ideas for 2011. The album seems to really pick up near the mid point of the album and kept me hooked in listening to the rest of what it had to offer and damn.

Interesting new ideas which I personally love, love the quick switch to something you would in a cyberpunk car chase to something to curl up and cry to.
