This album is so good. It’s honestly my favorite album of all time and it has one of my favorite covers. I have a sticker and shirt of the cover. I loved this upon first listen and it is one of two albums that gave me goosebumps. I love how it’s striped back, but also not to the level that Roman candle is. This is probably my 3rd or 4th favorite Elliott smith album and one of my favorites of all time. While it isn’t my favorite I can see why this would be for others. The sound of it is so comforting and beautiful. Problably the most comforting out of all his albums. This is probably my most listened to Elliott smith album and probably my 2nd favorite. While many don’t like the inconsistency in the sound I think it’s what makes this album special and so good. I love the way it opens with sweet Adeline and then transitions into tomorrow, tomorrow. Waltz 2 is also a great song and it’s many’s favorite by him. Beautiful song with nice ocean vibes. It honestly couldn’t have been changed in any way to make it better. I am looking forward to the new album Vanisher with this amazing new single.
This album is so great and catchy. I loved it upon first listen. My favorite song from it is always changing because it is so good and there are so many bangers.
I did not like this one at first because it wasn’t as catchy and accessible as “ooh rap I yah” but since last listening to it it has completely grown on me and I have learned to love the slower pace of the album.
