ahh.. ambience. it is a genre that I know next to nothing about. I have only heard two other ambient albums before 2020, and I thought that the genre wasn't for me. It felt too slow, and the genre overall left me bored with the music that I've heard from it at the time. I avoided most ambient albums simply because I thought that I would get nothing out of them.

I am very conflicted on this album. Don’t get me wrong, the instrumentals, for the most part, are exceptional, Every song feels complete. But, I feel like there is something that I am missing here, none of these songs have replay value for me despite the fact that I enjoyed most of the project. To those who love this album, what did you enjoy about this LP?

As someone who doesn’t listen to a ton of jazz, albums like these really make me feel like I’m missing out on it. This album is atmospheric and it keeps a dark, but calm theme throughout. Pretty much every song on here is solid! I recommend others to try it out.

With a name like “Destroyer”, I always thought that this was a metal band, so Chinatown really caught me off guard.

The production on this album was otherworldly, I haven’t heard much like it really. There were so many times I found myself caught in a trance with the production. Sometimes it is hard to hear the lyrics, though it is my first listen.
