An step down from the other project but still fun and very enjoyable
Starts with a very nice high which is "Pain" but after that the rest of the album had nothingt that specially caught my attention.
It is true that many people complain about the length of the songs with them being too short, however i didn't encounter this to be an issue for this album, in fact i was surprised by how this felt much longer than 18 minutes
Once again the album had no misses, apart from the more ... read more
A very fun and action-packed album!
PinkPantheress has a very unique and at the same time oddly nostalgic style. Her high pitched singing with catchy and fun production can be such a vibe to be honest, perfect for nighttime strolls/drives.
The short length of this album and songs makes it so the album is mostly filled with bangers, however there was a lack of highs that i would consider top tier, but i must say there were no misses. Only some kinda more mediocre songs like "Nice to meet ... read more
FIRST ALBUM LISTEN OF 2025!
Is FKA twigs the r&b equivalent of JPEGmafia???
Jokes aside i enjoyed this album much more than i was expecting. This production is so freaking innovative and dope, and it's crazy how it surprisingly compliments FKA twig's AMAZINGLY eerie vocals a lot.
The first half specially was VERY good, and in songs like "Drums of death" it featured some mindblowing production that reminded me of Peggy a lot. I'm still debated weather i like or ... read more
A surprisingly great listen.
This project was throughoutly good, with no misses or bad songs. The production was fun, and Ravyn Lenae sung fairly well.
The songs in general were catchy and enjoyable and it had a very nice high which is "Love me not" with that amazing chorus.
However it is true that overall it isn't a mindblowing or groundbreaking project, and sound-wise it isn towards the generic side of things, and this not mentioning how a lot of these songs while good ... read more
I surprisingly enjoyed this album much more than i was expecting
This album was incredibly solid with no misses or bad songs. The production is great and the vocals of course are stellar.
There were some nice highs in here, like "Chihiro", "Birds of a feather" and "L'Amour de ma vie"
There were some other songs though that while good i didn't care much about them or found mindblowing
Honestly wasn't that big of a downgrade compared to "House of balloons"
The album starts with a very strong first half full of some very fire cuts, the production and vocals are on point that's for sure. The best songs were here, specially "Lonely star", "The Zone" and "The Birds pt 2"
The second half was less solid with some kinda more subpar cuts like "Gone" and "Rolling stone", they weren't bad songs but still a ... read more
The perfect definition of great but inconsistent
In this mixtape we see wayne rapping over the beats of some of the hottest songs at the time. He snaps in most of this songs showcasing some amazing rapping performances to the point where he does it even better than the originals in some of these: for example, "DOA" and "Run this town (sorry HOV).
A big bunch of these songs are among my favourite Weezy songs: like "Run this town" and "Sweet Dreams". Wayne ... read more
Really surprised this doesn't have higher grade, this album is really good. It's close to It's almost dry and Daytona
Pusha snaps with that rapping, which is to be expected, but the production is soooo good too.
It has some really nice cuts, like "Pain", "King push", "Hold on" and specially "Nosetalgia" which imo it's Pusha's best song, just pure heat.
Yeah it's true that there are some...subpar songs in the middle of the ... read more
Oh boy this album had such a big fuzz behind and i must say it did not dissapoint in the slightest.
I had been pushing it back for months and today i decided to finally listen to it. It's absolutely amazing in almost all aspects.
First of all, that jazzy production is top tier, and elevated the whole listen to another level.
Then we have those lyrics, kendrick SNAPS in this album, not only he raps incredibly well but those lyrics are so impactfull and meaningfull. I mean what ... read more
I had listened a couple scattered LDR songs so i decided to check out this album
When i heard the first song i thought this was gonna end up being a long boring listen, but NO! I enjoyed this much more than i expected
Lana's vocals as always are crazy and there were some really nice cuts in here, the main ones probably Venice's Bitch and Doin Time
I feel like if i was more used to this type of sound i would have enjoyed it a lot more and honestly i can see why some people rate this ... read more
The final instalement of the "Slime season" series i had left to listen to.
This was easily the weakest one of the series, but it doesn't stop it from being a great listen.
Thug managed to keep me hooked on this despite being 1H AND 20 MIN and 22 songs long which is kind of insane even for a thug fan like me, xd
I would say there was a lack of highs compared to SS1 and SS3. Apart from "Thief in the Night" and "My Baby" there weren't many other songs ... read more
Mariah Carey is a crazy good vocalist, this album is amazing.
Was surprised by how solid and great this project was. The first half specially was incredible, Honey, The Roof and Breakdown are crazy good songs, with crazy production and vocals.
It's funny cause there were a couple ballads, a type of songs that i don't tend to like, but these were mostly great! I was surprised by how much i enjoyed some of them like "My All"
It is true that the album fell down a little ... read more
I wanted to check out a new artist so i decided to check out this album cause from what i had heard it's the most R&B-like record from Ariana Grande
It was alright. A big bunch of the songs while good weren't nothing interesting, Ariana Grande has great vocals but i can't seem to enjoy most of the songs that much either the production which wasn't incredibly good for me or the song structures.
There were some dope cuts though, like "Thank u next", ... read more
The final instalement of JID's discography i had left to listen (at least of his famous albums of course)
It's def an step down from his other 2 albums. There weren't any highs at all in here except maybe "EddNEddy" and "Never" which were 9/10, most songs were good and as always JID did very good on the rapping side.
However i think the main issue with the songs were probably the production which while mostly good, at times it didn't work for me. As ... read more
"THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE 🗣️‼️"
Just like in "Tha Carter III" in this album Weezy is in prime form. His ear for production is excellent and his rapping skills are on point.
The entire album is really solid and luckily unlike TC3 which got ruined by the final songs this album doesn't have a single miss.
While it is true that this album lacks the extra originality that TC3 has, it compensates this by having some of the best production that Weezy has ever hopped ... read more
Third MJ album, and this was yet another fire album from him.
This one was more consistent than Off the Wall. With all songs being fairly fun. The songs are fun danceable and with really nice energy.
However i must say that this was the album with the least ammount of Highs from the MJ trilogy. Most songs were good sure, but nothing out of the ordinary (except smooth criminal). I wasn't feeling much the song run from "Another part of me", "Man in the mirror"(yeah i ... read more
Another great album from Nina Simone
These songs are meaningfull and emotive as hell. And she has some great vocals over here.
Reading the meaning of "Four women" (which i recognized from being the sample of "Story of OJ") hit me really hard, the whole theme of that song is tragic and very eye-opening, ngl.
I think i have gotten more used to her sound with this record and honestly this album might just be better than Pastel Blues. However i'm not sure if i will be ... read more
"If rap was a game, i would be MVP!" Ngl Big L, i kinda agree with you!
In Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous Big L displays his great rapping skills over some nice really nice east-coast boom-bap beats.
The production in this album is cold and eerie, perfectly fitting for Big L's rapping style and lyrics. There are some really nice songs in here, specially MVP, Da Graveyard (with a very nice feature from a young Jay-Z) and Street Struck
His rapping hability is excellent ... read more
Migos are probably one of the best rap groups of the recent years.
Their style based on fun adlibs and catchy flows can be incredibly fire when executed correctly.
This album was overall pretty fun. With some heat cuts like Bad & Boujee, Kelly Price and specially Get Right Wicha. The production wasn't the craziest thing ever, but in here it was enough to do its work and make the album mostly enjoyable.
I must say that at times i found this kinda boring, maybe cause some of these ... read more
I just remembered that i listened this classical composition too so imma rate it.
Gustav's Holst's the planets has never been among my favourite classical music pieces but it has some great moments.
Although at times i found it kinda boring.
