AOTY discovers flashcore

This has to be one of the best shoegaze albums I've heard in a long time.

I listened to Col a long time ago and thought it was p good. I heard this was better. It sucks. The first half is better than the second half by a long mile. I heavily disrespect Approaching Mountains for making this album.

I think Concrete's forte is when it comes to ambient stuff (dark ambient is manky) and that's about it.

I want to point out I have bias. I SHOULD hate the person behind Spiralcurse — Plats. I don't. They have ties to ppl I harassed last year (and I sincerely regret). I hate that community for reasons I'm not getting into bc it doesn't matter, I want to support Plats regardless.

Vocals weird, but a great sound nevertheless

This new direction is interesting but I also welcome the return of the seven minute runtime

This is a p solid debut album in the making from an artist I found out about from the Avenade Discord server a year or so ago. It's noisy post-hardcore w some swaths of noise and feedback so yea. The vocals are the lowest part of the record, and sometimes it's so consistent to a fault it's boring. But yea.

This is a pretty good black metal album.

"Nil Admirari" is one of the best noise tracks I've ever heard from anyone.

But for those who stay beyond that, this album has amazing synth-scapes and beautiful prog electronic compositions. No wonder OPN is a genius, he's been doing this for ages.
