I bought this album on Bandcamp a while ago but decided to review it now:

3 is a huge step up from 1 & 2, and an extremely solid competitor among the other CSH albums, possibly better than MBIKMB? The beach songs are great and portrait of the artist is incredible. I really enjoyed this album and it means a lot to me. It’s really great and it’s just filled with emotion. I have cried to beach fagz multiple times (beach funeral too but just a bit less).

Most of my 85-100 scored reviews start off with me saying something along the lines of “incredible album”. I wish I was a better wordsmith but I just can never stop overusing superlative words.

Really disappointing. Having loved Ana Ng, and seeing the fairly high reviews, I expected to adore this album. I did not adore this album. The most overhated album of ALL TIME!! (Not really)
But yeah cmon guys knock it off it’s a good album. The spotlighting of other band members is pretty cool and Hollywood isn’t that bad. Another little oddity of an album, and I think the last one before Will absolutely locked in. This one is worse than 1, which had a some garbage but a handful of songs that made the album. Yeah this album fucks.
Good god is The New Abnormal good. One of the best albums since 2020. They absolutely ate this shit up; I love a comeback after a mid album. Really incredible, and some of The Strokes best work.

Spectacular album. While I think FTF is better, I think this album’s existence compliments FTF greatly and I still come back to a few songs here like Cute Thing, and this version of Beach Life-In-Death is better cuz of the “We’re too scared to do shit!”.

I think this album is way better than people make it out to be. Anyone who likes TOS needs to run to this album and see all the better versions. What an incredible album. Something Soon is genuinely one of my favorite songs and Strangers and Stoop Kid are underrated.

Honestly a really great song by the gay furry band. I find myself singing it alone in my room quite often. When toleddi says “W’ar is coming” it tickles me. A lot of people are saying it should’ve been on MADLO, and yeah they’re right. It definitely would’ve been one of the better, stand out tracks on the album. Pretty good pretty great.

A wonderful album. Probably the best album from one of my favorite bands, Oingo Boingo. From what I can tell, every song is a critique of part of society (Little Girls - pedophilia, Capitalism - Capitalism). It sounds great, Danny Elfman is a genius and he practically has a fucking orchestra for a band.

Odd how I’ve never technically reviewed this. But yeah this is the greatest album ever and I love it to death. Not much to say that hasn’t been said, it’s overwhelmingly spectacular and life-changing. Mwah

Yeah no this is dogshit.

YouTube kept feeding me this and I kinda ate it. The lyrics are corny, shallow, and sometimes drift into a rhyme zone kinda vibe, however it does sound pretty nice at times. If whoever does the vocals here decides to make real music I am down to be a follower of that.

Holy shit I’m pissing my pants of excitement. This album is all I’m gonna be thinking about all year, before and after its release. This song is pretty great too, I’m gonna be playing only this song until may 2nd, as well as “There Must Be More Than Blood” because it’s just really good. Yippeeee!

Simply an incredible album. The second best album tyler has ever made (second only to IGOR ofc). An amazing listen. I remember when I woke up early and listened to the entire thing on the bus. I had to give it a few months before being able to properly review it tho. Great album.

If you just listen to it, the album is great. However If you acknowledge the fact this album is all mostly worst versions of older songs, then yeah it makes the album feel worse. But I still enjoyed this greatest hits rerecorded.

Holy shit this is fucking gas. All 3 songs (if we are counting that Additional Lyric Demo) really hit. This is like really up my alley. I found this rather randomly and upon googling Fooperterooney I was surprised to find it was on AOTY (a website I frequent) so I had to express my love for it. I hope Fooperterooney finds the success they deserve, I'll likely check out more.

This is genuinely one of the best things car seat headrest has ever put out. The best version of Oh! Starving, the asexual anthem, the masterpiece that is I Hate Living, and the two also awesome songs. I love this EP way too much.

Spectacular EP. It's Only Sex and Reuse the Cels are absolutely incredible, and god did Oh! Starving NEEDED to be redone and it's better than the Teens of Style version.
