When it comes to Fennesz, as with many electro-ambient artists, I can do without the frivolous texturizing that constantly plagues the genre. I prefer when he focuses on developing the melodic atmosphere. Fortunately Agora is texturized appropriately and backed by simple, but poignant progressions; the textural veneer is just there to remind you that you're listening to Fennesz.
