I listened to this forever ago idk why I never made a review for it.
It's amazing. Better than their previous album in my opinion (which is a very high bar).
I remember being aware of this album for a long time, but I never really took the time to listen to anything off of it other than "One Armed Scissor", which I actually used to Dislike. I am glad I actually took the time to listen to this, because it's way better than I thought.
One of the few examples of rap-rock being good. That's probably because N.E.R.D leans more toward the rap / hip hop than the rock, which in my opinion helps them sound less goofy and out of touch like so many rap-rock groups do. The unique hip hop and rock fusion, plus the lyricism and charisma of Pharrell, Chad, Shay, and their features makes this album absolutely worth listening to.
A great collection of well made and catchy indie-pop songs. Nothing crazy, just quality.
This album is a lot, but even throughout its almost 75-minute long runtime, it never falls flat. It's 75 minutes of art.
This is yet another album that I wish got the recognition it deserves. This album rocks, from front to back.
I was expecting the user rating to be at least a bit inflated because of Charli's very large and passionate fanbase... but nah.
This album is fire.
