This album is not "Trench, Part 2" or whatever. It's not as well made, or as focused as Trench. But... in my opinion, it's still good, and worth listening to. Honetly, I think this album proves that Trench wasn't a fluke. This album (expecially the singles) proves that Twenty One Pilots is a talented group of people that are capable of making great music.
Some quality indie rock from a group that clearly cared about the music.
Shoutout specifically to 7/4 (Shoreline) and Swimmers, two of my favourite songs of all time.
This album alone proves Lupe deserves to be talked about more.
It's amazing how British people can live in such a colourless place, and still make some of the most colourfull music I have ever heard.
I found this album on a used CD at a record store and when I handed it to the guy behind the counter, he said "Great pick, this is an excellent album" and he talked about this album, and Silversun Pickups for a while while checking me out. I already new a couple songs from this album, and I liked them, but I never listened to the whole thing, and now that I have, The record store guy was right. This album is suprisingly great. I've had this CD for a while now and never got around to listening to it. I decided to listen to it now, since ScHoolboy Q just came out with his new album. I'm glad I did, because this album was better than I thought it would be.
