Great, they changed their genre from previous record, and this is way more fun. Overall, this is a great record.

Is that Will Toledo in the album cover?

A fun, good sounding record, some of the lyrics not so fun tho. It's a good post-punk album for a debut.

A Masterpiece Made by Horrible Person

For me, this is a perfection masterpiece but Alexis Marshall fucking ruined it. Fuck him. I would give this 100 but knowing the fact that the guy who made this is a prick, terrible person, and now I can't. -5 for that.

The progression of their music from their debut to this album needs to be applauded because their musicality has increased with each album release. This album is dark, chaotic, intense, overall unsettling just like any of their records. In ... read more

Daughters - Daughters

This album is tough but exciting listen. This album has strong energy, unique sounds, and rough production, and overall really great and interesting project.

Daughters - Hell Songs

Chaotic, intense just like the last album but less abrasive and this is just great.

Daughters - Canada Songs

A challenging listen.

Have a Nice Life - Sea of Worry
57

A step down from their previous two great albums. Not a fan.

Have a Nice Life - The Unnatural World

I love the overall vibe in this album, quite dark and atmospheric. It's a great album but it's not Deathconsciousness.

Have a Nice Life everybody.
Layered distorted guitars and ethereal synths create an atmospheric and immersive feel throughout the whole track in this album, with reverbed vocals singing the profound, thought-provoking lyrics. Truly a masterpiece.

I didn't know what to expect before listening to this. I just thought it's gonna be like the last album, and what I got is a mix of Swans and Daughters. The overall sound of the album captures a dystopian mood, this album creates a discomfort atmosphere throughout my listen, it's so dark, quite chaotic, and very unsettling. Somehow, I prefer the last album than this one but still an amazing album.

*I PREFER this album than their debut.

Sprain - As Lost Through Collision

*90-80

Departing from pure slowcore genre to post-hardcore, post-rock, noise rock, Slint-esque sound but still, the slowcore element is there resulting an interesting, incredible piece of work.

*Ok, this doesn't really wow me now, but still a great record.

Some great slowcore right here.

The Microphones - Microphones in 2020

Great story by Phil Elverum.

The Microphones - Mount Eerie
95

Another lo-fi album that I really love.
With raw production, this record has some interesting experimental elements with diverse instruments, and poetic-imaginative lyrics at the front. Such an amazing album.

The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2
98

Blending lo-fi, folk, and experimental rock. This record is ambitious, chaotic, experimental, also emotional.
I'm not really a big fan of lo-fi music but this record is just on another level.

The Microphones - It Was Hot, We Stayed in the Water
82

Haunting, poetic, raw emotions with experimental sounds.

The Microphones - Don't Wake Me Up
73

Interesting and good debut album overall. The lo-fi style makes it feel real and personal.

90

Sick, great debut.

This Heat - Deceit

Very experimental, weird but great album. First half is so good.

"@GHOSTLAGOON Joy Division is more influential than Oasis lol. Oasis is a Beatles' knock off lol and even worse, their music sounds so generic, annoying vocals, no variety throughout their whole discography. Terrible band overall."
