C’mon yall. This is dog shit. A bunch of messy mixes, Ty adds pretty much nothing outside of a few hooks and a genuinely good verse on Talking. It’s seriously so frustrating, every time a song starts to pick up momentum, Kanye decides to drop an absolute fucking nuke on it with the worst bar you’ve ever heard and just derail everything. Ginger is by far brockhamptons most cohesive and concise album to date. That being said, it is also their most emotional. the boys have been through a lot in the past couple of years, and I see this album as a reflection on what they have been through. I think this album is very important to Brockhampton, and I think it does a good job of displaying their current mental state.
Stylistically this album is a bit of a shift. Instead of a mainly hardcore experimental hip hop album, Brockhampton ... read more
