Jumping into this from Radioheads other albums I've heard (A Moon Shaped Pool and In Rainbows, so far), I'm immediately super interested in what they put on display on this album. I struggle to figure out where to place this album amongst Godspeed's work, because I feel this album focuses less on the songs, and so much more on the atmosphere, the worldbuilding, and the feelings and emotions of the band. Don't get me wrong, this album features some absolutely stunning moments, but its so much more about the story and world and atmosphere. This album... is incredibly difficult to rate. It's not really an... album? It's a gigantic collection of a huge variety of singles, all with varying levels of quality. It's never very consistent, and never once feels like an album. As a result, the best way I can find to describe this album is by going through the songs and treating them as individual songs, and in that regard, this stands as some of Camellias best work. While not every track here is a hit for me, there is a nice feeling to this album, and it keeps that feeling going really well. The bops on this album are strong, and the slower songs are nice and peaceful. It doesn't really fall into my absolute *favorite* style of music, but there is still plenty to appreciate here, and this made me feel good listening to it, so I'd consider it to be pretty good. :)

I respect the ideas and styles on display here, and the concepts are good, but the execution is pretty rough here. The atmosphere is cool throughout, and there's a lot of cool sounds and drops on display, but some songs lean into some pretty odd styles, and the whole thing feels pretty inconsistent from start to finish. Not the worst ever, but could've been so much better.

This mixtape is... something. I'm not a huge fan of phonk, but an instagram preview made me realize there would be some songs other than phonk on here and there were! The problem is that the amount of effort put onto each song here feels wildly inconsistent. I haven't heard much Infected Mushroom outside of their Monstercat releases, but holy crap I feel like I've been missing out now because this album is full of some of their most crazy impressive work of all time. This was a pleasantly decent experience, but I don't think I was wowed by it. It was enjoyable to listen to, but I feel like it was just good/ok throughout, and got a little bit tiring/boring near the end. Why is this rated so low? This is Zedds best song in years, infectiously catchy and absolutely makes me want to check out the album when it releases. Incredibly good!

I've been somewhat skeptical of underscores for a while, despite having a few songs saved from her, mostly just due to the fact that hyperpop wasn't my thing. Listen, I was a HUGE Imagine Dragons fan as a kid. Never listened to a full album of theirs, but heard so many random songs of theirs and they were one of the first bands I've ever loved. There are still some songs they make like "Warriors" and "Whatever It Takes" that are super nostalgic to me, and I absolutely love still to this day even. There's honestly nothing positive I have to say about this album. It's a mish mash of poorly produced heavy EDM songs clearly built for a live setting. No cohesion, all the songs are a mess, vocal work is terrible throughout, and even the most tolerable songs on it just aren't good. I didn't like this album when it came out, and after hearing it again, I still don't like it at all, and its one of the very very few 0s I feel pretty comfortable giving.

Parannoul really surprised me with this one! The vibe here is really well done, and I think there is a ton to love about this album! Coming from New Levels New Devils, I was expecting this one to not quite be at that level, especially being told that this was a lot more controversial. I'm happy to report however that this album is not only great, but exactly what I wanted from Polyphia! This album is literally 10 tracks of the most generic, basic dance-pop you could ever imagine, and is entirely built to appease the radio or something. Unfortunately for Vicetone, this album didn't get much hype beyond some of the singles being fairly popular, so as a result this album falls flat and does nothing! I cannot for the life of me see the appeal of this album honestly. It has a few highs, with 1 extremely large high, and a solid middle, but surrounding it is an absolute sea of mediocre lifeless Drum & Bass thats cleanly put together, but lacking in any distinct identity or ideas.
