Follow The Leader is definitely an improvement on Korn's previous album, Life Is Peachy, but still not as good as their debut.
To be honest, I did like this album a lot. However, the thing that brings it down is the first four tracks. Although I like Freak On A Leash a lot, the other three are really boring and a really bad way to start off the album. Thankfully, after the fourth song it does start to get interesting and fun.
Really, it's unfortunate that those first four really bring down the ... read more
While not as good as Nevermind or In Utero, Bleach is still a great debut for Nirvana.
Really, the only problem this album has is that it's not either of the other two: it will always be in Nevermind and In Utero's shadow. There is absolutely nothing bad about this album other than it's not as memorable as the other two nor does it make you want to come back as much as the other two.
To be honest, there were very few tracks that didn't work for me. Most of the songs were very fun and enjoyable. ... read more
After making such a great and well-known album like Nevermind, there was no way Nirvana were able to top it. I'm probably in the minority when I say that they did.
Every single song on here is amazing, catchy, intriguing and interesting. There is absolutely no bad songs, and I don't even think there is any that I can call my least favourite. Everything is just perfect.
Really, the only problem I have with this album is that I know that I probably won't come to it as much as I think I should. ... read more
This is the first time I genuinely regret listening to an album. I have to be honest, I didn't hate the other X albums I listened to. I thought that this would be a guilty pleasure like the others. Nope.
Every single track on here is terrible. They either sound bad, are boring, or both. There is no in between. I am at a loss for words because I am actually shocked at how bad this is.
In fact, every track on here is so bad that I'm not even sure if I even liked my favourite track. It was the one ... read more
To be honest, this is probably Panic's best album yet, which is sad to think about considering this really isn't that good.
There's nothing terrible about this album, but there isn't anything great about it either. The best songs are only good because they are catchy, and the worst songs are boring or just bad. There isn't anything memorable, nor is there anything I would come back to. This is just an okay album that isn't a terrible listen but not something I can recommend.

While being fun at times, Death of a Bachelor is a very inconsistent album. The tracks can either be really enjoyable or really boring and forgettable.
It's definitely not the worst I've heard from Panic!, but it's not the best. There are some tracks on here that I really like, but the negatives far outweigh the positives.
There's not really much I can say about it, though. For the most part, this is just plain forgettable with nothing making me want to revisit it.

This is such an average album. There isn't too much to hate about it, but there isn't too much to like about it either.
The good tracks on this album range from being pretty good to just okay. Meanwhile, the bad tracks on here range from being instantly forgettable to just plain bad. For example, I can't for the life of me remember what Nicotine sounded like, whilst The End Of All Things had vocal effects bad enough to challenge Nails For Breakfast. To be honest, I haven't decided which one had ... read more
Not a terrible album, just pretty forgettable. There's not really much going for it. There are a couple of fun songs, but most are just somewhat boring and forgettable. This seems like an album that is best listened to in the background. There's nothing making me want to come back to it, and there's not much to talk about.
A couple of tracks could have been much better, but overall there isn't really a bad song.

Slipknot really did get off to a rocky start, but I wouldn't say it's the worst I have heard from them.
For what it is, Mate Feed Kill Repeat is a pretty enjoyable album in a so bad it's fun way.
Really, the one good thing about this album is that the instrumentals, for the most part, are pretty interesting. Other than that, the vocals and the lyrics are really bad. I mean, they are so bad that in the hidden track the singer straight up questions the lyrics.
I would be lying if it wasn't fun, ... read more
Goddamn, Slipknot fell hard with this album. How do you manage to make metal boring?
This album is a massive disappointment. Although most of their albums are pretty mixed in quality, this one has absolutely nothing that I could call one of Slipknot's best. It's all boring track after boring track.
However, the one saving grace of this album is that it does get a bit more interesting in the latter half. Unfortunately, it's not enough to save the album: the damage is done by the first 8 ... read more
Unpopular opinion, I know, but I don't hate this as much as I hate Blurryface. I still think it's trash though.
I don't even know what to say as I found this album so goddamn boring. The most interesting part of this album was the instrumentals, and even that was boring. None of the lyrics stood out to me so I didn't catch onto any of the messages. It doesn't help that this album easily has Tyler Joseph's worst vocal performance.
However, I did find more enjoyment out of this than I did ... read more
I mean, I was expecting much worse. I had heard that everything after Vol. 3 would be trash, but this was pretty good. No where near as good as their first three albums, but still pretty enjoyable.
Really, the only thing bad about this album is that it can be pretty boring at times. Quite a few songs drag on for a bit, and I think that's more of a fault of the fact that every song is over 4 minutes long. To be honest, a couple of songs should've been trimmed down to 3 minutes.
Also, there are ... read more
Slipknot Vol. 3 is certainly not as good as their previous albums, but that doesn't take away from it being a great album.
One of the things that I like more about this album is that I think that the vocal performance is probably the best so far. I think the more subdued Corey Taylor is, the heavier certain songs hit, and that may be one of the reasons why some of their previous songs didn't stick with me.
However, this album isn't as memorable as their other two. For Self Titled and Iowa, I ... read more
To be completely honest, Life Is Peachy is a pretty bad follow up to their debut. Don't get me wrong, I don't think this is a bad album, just that after such a great first album this doesn't really come close to it.
Really, most of the negatives of this album are comparisons to their first. There aren't as many stand outs, for example. Honestly, though, a lot of these songs are pretty forgettable, and I don't see myself coming back to this one as much as their first.

To be honest, this isn't a bad album in any means. There's not many songs that I would call bad. In fact, I would probably go as far as to say that I like most of the songs on here. Really, the main flaw with this album is that it is probably the worst album Daron Malakian has been apart of (SOAD and Scars on Broadway).
Again, I need to say that I don't dislike this album. It's just forgettable. I mean, I was listening to some songs and, when they ended, I completely forgot the sound of the ... read more
I mean, it's not System of a Down. It's a really fun album with really well done instrumentals, a great vocal performance and... interesting lyrics, to say the least.
There's not really any bad track on here. The only ones that I can say are my least favourites are ones that aren't all that memorable. To be honest, the only complaint I can think of is that some tracks drag on a bit too long, but other than that, this is just a really enjoyable album.

I don't know why this exists and I don't know why I listened.
Okay, that's a lie: I listened because it has Frank Iero as lead singer. To be honest, although I like MCR, I still don't know why that led me to this album.
This album has some of the most edgy songs I have ever heard. Seriously, with songs talking about school shootings and how he wants to kill the president, it feels more like a mentally disturbed teenagers notebook.

Wow. This album actually shocked me. After hearing the train wrecks that were Vessel and Blurryface, I expected this to be just as bad, even with all the positive reviews. Thankfully I did decide to give this a chance.

I didn't think it was possible for them to make an album worse than Vessel, but they did it. Seriously, how did you manage to make it worse and also manage to make me get angry with music? I have genuinely never been as angry with a song as I just was.

Edit: Yeah, I think I was too generous with this album. This is the only Gorillaz album other than The Fall that I've genuinely not even considered coming back to, and that's including Humanz.

This is what Humanz should have been: a fun and somewhat memorable album.
That being said, although there are some memorable songs, the biggest problem with this album is that there are quite a few songs that are just so forgettable. I mean, I finished this album like two minutes ago ... read more
