Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica
55

Deep down we know it's a bundle of cowshit... But its a charming bundle of cowshit. Im conflicted.

56

What's the fuss with Nirvana? Repetitive, boring song structures, Teenybopper lyrics, and Kurt's droney half assed vocals. I guess the appeal is that its very easy to down this type of music. For what it's worth atleast there are a few earworms in the mix, can't say the same about In Utero.

Prince - 1999
62

Another Prince album that doesn't fit the bill for me. Most songs felt like they should've been cut short in like half its runtime. Maybe I should just hang up the towel with Prince. Although I will say the first 2 tracks are finger lickin' good.

Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I
57

Mixed bag. They couldn't keep their footing after their great debut

Björk - Homogenic
93

I have the utmost respect for Björk but for the love of God I can't behind her vocals for even a fraction of a second.

Edit: What a Hooplehead I was.

my bloody valentine - loveless
9

Even if you doctor up a piece of shit, at the end of the day it's still a piece of shit.

Kate Bush - The Sensual World
76

The instrumentals didn't cut as deep as some of Kates other work but it sported some of my favorite vocals from her.

Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath
79

This thing had the potential to stack against the top dogs in the metal scene. Everything fell into place, except the elephant In the room, the vocals. They're flat out dogshit, you can't convince me otherwise.
Favorite Song - Desecration of Souls
Least Favorite - To Far One Away

Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
85

Sweet baby jesus. Everything you need when it comes to jazz-fusion. Had me twisting and shouting throughout.

Prince - Sign "☮︎" the Times
54

On paper, Prince should be one of my favorite artists. Off the chain attitude, badass aesthetics. virtuoso on more instruments than I can count, and he's from my homestate. Sad to say he's never resonated with me. I guess it is what it is.

100

If only they could've kept their heads above water throughout each and every track this would've not only been Zeppelins magnum opus, but it would've been the greatest album ever in my oh so humble opinion. Peaks and Valleys on this one folks, sad to say.
Edit: Had a change of heart, even tho "The Crunge" isn't great by any means, the rest of the album is some of the best music that has graced my ears.

59

Meathead thrash that makes you want to flip tables. I guess it does the job in that department. Not much more to say.
Needless to say, Raining Blood absolutely destroys.

Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue
93

The fact that this album is jam packed with 17 songs and none of them overstay their welcome is beyond me.

King Crimson - Red
96

It's home to Starless, need I say more?

Steely Dan - The Royal Scam
100

The greatest achievement by Steely Dan as far as I'm concerned. These 2 rascals really raised the bar for production standards.
