Cryalot - Hell Is Here
40

Sarah has officially run out of interesting or surprising ideas. God this is a weak lead off single, The distorted bass tries to create menace during the chorus but Sarah trying to be "intimidating" means that she has to sound slightly annoyed. The verses are fine I guess but they sound a little empty. The screaming somewhere around the middle of the track is ass and the final chorus sounds like it tries to sound overwhelming but instead it feels really compressed and the mixing is ... read more

Panic! at the Disco - Pretty. Odd.

This was a fairly sweet experience and a huge improvement upon their debut! The instrumentation has had a major overhaul and doesn't sound horrifically dated like the debut. Lastly it has some of the strongest songwriting I've heard from the band, with lyrics that don't make me want to smash my head on a brick wall . Nine In The Afternoon and Northern Downpour are genuinely great tracks

But with even all those positives out of the way I still find a lot of glaring flaws that I can't ignore. ... read more

Jane Remover - Royal Blue Walls

I tried to like this, but really it doesn't go anywhere. Some change ups happen but the mixing is so god awful at the louder moments of the first track that it seems as really unprofessional. I like my noise rock to be loud and not muddy. The second track sounded nice on the background but it didn't capture my attention that much. I haven't listened to jane's previous work so I can't comment on their vocal/production improvements.

Skullflower - Form Destroyer
90

A storm of noise that ends up swallowing everything. Cars, Cities, Countries, Planets, The Universe, everything has been covered by the storm. Everything once living is dead, All riches have vanished, Meaning has disappeared, Languages are lost. Everything's now a fuzzy yet somehow hazy static. People screaming through the mix, trying to retain themselves through the grey but end up dying out. There's no point in fighting back, Embrace the end and make the best of your time.

Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out

With panic!’s latest single as an excuse(and the review having over 40 likes at this point I’ll ofcourse cash in  ), I’ve decided to make a discography review of the work they put out. From the debut to the new album that’s supposed to come out during the end of summer. I know I’m not the best at completing series as I have numerous unfinished ones (do you remember my christmas special series? How about my pop albums of the 2010s one? Yeah, of all the ... read more

Lil Darkie - THIS DOES NOT EXIST

wow so edgy he says slurs. He's crazeeee.

The guitars at point hurt my fucking ears and not in a nice way. if want actually good edgy music listen to the Gerogerigegege. Don't listen to a mf that thinks is underground with all the songs on the album having over 1 million streams.

I love how all people NOW talk about him saying the n-word, r-slur etc. while he's not black and he can't just sorta say the r-slur. Like did people before like just went with it for art's sake. I don't technically ... read more

Shlohmo - The End

This project right here is a genre bending experience like no other. Taking elements of IDM, Post-Rock and Noise Rock and applying them through an Instrumental Hip Hop lens to create a worthwhile experience. This guy did production for artists like Joji and Yung Lean, who are well known for their unique instrumental pallets and high quality production. Rock Music sets the tone for the record with a sudden change up from what seems like random notes being played on a guitar to a GY!BE noise ... read more

Panic! at the Disco - Viva Las Vengeance

I fuckin hate brendon urine so much. And it's not cause of his allegations of being a shithead, it's because he sounds like that friend that will stab you behind your back and make you feel like shit whenever you're around him. He tries to disguise that by being all quirky and funny like oh look at me i'm so cuuuuute. NO you aren't unique, NO you're a piece of shit excuse of a man, you already ruined pride month and look like you invest on crypto

EDIT: people complain about me not talking ... read more

Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa & Young Thug - Potion
50

Calvin Harris greets us with the lead single for his next project. This track right here will prolly be the soundtrack for the summer do to it's funky groove and joyfully playful vibe. Dua Lipa provides a solid hook and Young Thug his classic verses that don't make any freaking sense, yet make me bop along.

"Fuckin' every bitch and never tell 'em, no I'm pushin' P, they black and white, a Oreo". That's the greatest lyric of all time! MF DOOM could never.....

Sky Ferreira - Don't Forget
50

Sky Ferreira returns back to the sound she is most well known for, without any changes or development since 2013. It just kinda sounds like a b side from her debut. It would've been far more interesting if she continued with the brooding sound she showed in Downhill Lullaby

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR
40

Hey edgy 17 yr olds, do you like overtly sanitized alt.metal that's basically just pop punk but even more compressed? Then enjoy!

This is such a lifeless take on metal, It doesn't have any of the rawness that makes the genre fun. Sure it may have hooks (if you dare call them that) but it feels like the pop elements just like the latest disco release by HEALTH, just sorta neutralized the appeal of the genre instead of adding to it (ex. I Disagree by Poppy). Well atleast Kingslayer is a slapper ... read more

Damien Rice - The Blower's Daughter

This the golden standard of mainstream pop folk. Very simple in almost every department but instead of watering itself down for mass appeal, it instead takes advantage of the fundamentals for it to deliver one of the most genuine vocal performances of all time. Sure the lyrics during the chorus are just 7 words repeated over and over but they also would've been ruined if they were more complex. Pop Folk is all about transfering a folk backdrop to a pop song and this track does it beautifully. ... read more

Hayley Williams - Petals for Armor

"Hayley Williams: I wrote a lot of the songs on this record while driving. I was in my car singing, and the word “rage” kept coming up. I knew that I had a lot of angry energy but I didn’t know where it came from or what it was pointing towards. I thought it was going to be this general statement about anger that we all have, whether we feel it or not, but as I kept writing, it got really personal really fast.

I realized I had so much more to learn about myself and my ... read more

Weezer - Pinkerton

I remember the times when I used to connect to the album's lyrics quite a bit. I unironically could see a part of myself on rivers cuomo. Yeah, it's not a pretty picture lol. But now I relate to them as a way of personal progress and how much I've improved psychologically. It's noticeable from my improved ability at talking to women. As much as i love this album, I can notice that it has some flaws like fetishising asian 18yr olds and that rivers said that he is jello. But those obvious flaws ... read more

Portishead - Sour Times

This track transports me to different dimension everytime, it's a cabin in the middle of the forest during winter and eating some muffins. It makes me feel a nice warm blanket if comfort! I almost fell asleep to this track while i was on bed and it was the best experience ever. I'll do it again today as I'm speaking right now *falls on your shoulder while listening to the track and that's UwU*

For my 200 reviews special I'm going to cancel myself, it's been a great adventure on this site and I've made a lot of friends on these so goodbye. and for those that don't know what I'm talking about just go ahead and scroll past my review and search up the album. Please :D

Ok let's continue with the story! So Fall came along and with that we got the start of the new school year and if you read the previous part you'd see that I stated I was a lonely kid. and in second grade of junior high school it didn't change, like at all. I tried to socialize more but I just ... read more

The simplest collection of words I withheld within the crevices of my mind so that it can be understood by aotyers and gods alike that it can also be applied in the context of the quality of this review is "yet another historical banger review". Detractors of this statement should be ashamed of their very narrow brain cells and perhaps reconsider if it's worth it, like sitting down to think if swiftly kicking the underbelly of an undeserving dog is worth it."
