To describe this album in one word: annoying. I can't stop coming back to it and I'm constantly humming the choruses. It's a stupid earworm of an album but I just can't help but love it. Don't check this out if you're in the slightest irritated mood.
Original score was 40 because I combined all three albums, but honestly the Rae Sremmurd disc is so much better than the other two it feels wrong to let it's score be affected.
Really great energy on this album. My only complaint is that this album is more of a sampler than a full meal. They present these really interesting ideas and take them away from you very quickly. Some very interesting instrumentation, sometimes even industrial sounding. Just wish there was more.
When it comes to this non-lyrical emo rap, the bare minimum I expect is fun or unique instrumentals, and this project doesn't even deliver on that front. Just bad.
This album is a mess. The production has high highs and abysmal lows. Rocky has great flows but lacks lyrical depth. A handful of tracks feel like incomplete ideas. This album had so much potential but it never expands on any of it.
Some moments stand out but otherwise boring release.
Damn, I really wanted to love this more. Still a really good album, but the outstanding moments on the album are undercut by stretches of uninteresting material. Lemon Glow and L'Inconnue are my favorite tracks.
Wow 2 Charlie Puth albums in one month???????
Edit: Don't even know why I bothered listening to this, so boring
If you don't like this album you got Dumb for Brains
This is surprisingly good from the Arctic Monkeys. Not sure why piss like AM scores so highly but an album that isn't just going for hits on alternative radio gets low scores. Arctic Monkey fans have done themselves a disservice.
Really fascinating what Colin is able to accomplish on saxophone. This album just lacks any replay value.
Slaps!
Edit: fuck this is growing on me
Edit: I keep coming back to this, just a really dumb fun project.
Edit: This is becoming my most listened release in 2018
Original score: 45
