Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork
92

Just some really great rock music. Not a lot to elaborate on. Great guitar work, drum work, bass work, and vocal work. It’s just a really great rock album and definitely one of the best rock albums of the 2010’s

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
95

We should pollute the world more if it means we get more music like this

Xiu Xiu - Fabulous Muscles
88

Will definitely need to relisten. But as of now, it’s great

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs
82

Goes insanely hard.

Chris Stapleton - Starting Over
87

As somebody who doesn’t know anything about country, this album is really great. Chris’s voice commands your attention and the production is super inventive. Sometimes the album isn’t very interesting sonically but songs like cold make up for that

Björk - Homogenic
93

First half is nearly flawless. Second half is a bit spotty but picks itself back up near the end. Björk’s voice is so powerful, combined with the inventive and forward thinking production makes this album age like fine wine.

Tame Impala - Currents
80

Just some great psychedelic pop music. Will definitely come back to its a lot of fun

Charli xcx - how i'm feeling now
86

Begins and ends incredibly. Middle is kinda boring and not really worth returning to. But those 3 first and last tracks are something special man. Anthems and forever are 2 of the best pop songs in recent memory I’ll say that

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
92

Loved it. Dylan’s a great singer, despite how he sings sometimes. With great songwriting and production to back it up too. Sometimes I feel like some of the songs don’t earn their length but other than that this album is great

Boris - Boris at Last -Feedbacker-
92

Incredible atmosphere throughout the entire album with some truly crushing riffs thrown in halfway in. If it wasn’t for number four it might honestly be on par, or maybe even better than Pink. But, judging it as it is, it’s a great, tight running drone metal album that you should check out

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress'
75

It feels like they’re practicing for something bigger and better. I still overall like the album but I wish it wasn’t so safe. It’s like them telling us why they’re one of the most beloved bands right now

Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
83

Very pleasant and unique. Which is what I want out of a Sufjan album. That being said, the album does drag on a little and some songs do sound a little silly. I still do prefer the age of adz

Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You
70

Not for me. I can admit that it’s good and I liked it but I don’t see why the user score is so high

Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind

Nearly two and a half hours of musical perfection.

Once every, I wanna say 4 or 5 months I come back to this album. Thinking there’s no way it’s as good as I can remember. And every time I come back I prove myself wrong. This album is the culmination of everything I love about music as a whole. Beautiful guitars, unique vocals, deep bass lines, pounding drums, and deep, introspective, personal, and thought provoking lyrics. I don’t think anything will ever top this as it is ... read more

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
90

The bass on the album is so damn good. The other parts are also great and add their own flare but the bass was the standout to me

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
78

Eh. It’s a good album. But most of the album is just serviceable background music with a few highlights per song that don’t lead into or out of each other whatsoever. Feels very unstructured for me. It’s still good though, just not as good or interesting as I thought it could be.

Radiohead - Pablo Honey
61

Completely average. But a good time

Slint - Spiderland
88

The beginning of this album kicks ass. So heavy sounding with great storytelling. But near the end it feels like it’s running out of steam. The final track is a nice return to basics though. This album is honestly all that I wanted it to be. Innovating so much that it popularized a sub genre of music but not so much that it’s the best of the genre.

Swans - Filth
86

Swans on their debut come in guns blazing. Tearing down anything that stands in its path

Pink Floyd - Animals
82

Idk not really feeling it. Maybe I had my expectations too high after wish you were here. But this one does feel like a massive step down, despite how good it is.
