Generic garbage. Holy shit I’ve never heard anything so generic in my fucking life and every song sounds literally the same. Only 4 good songs at the near end of the album. The rest is generic trash.
Only 7 good songs. But he has a lot of potential and he shows that with songs like Salvation & Thing Called Love. He needs to shorten his projects to 10 songs and make similar songs like the songs I mentioned and that would’ve been an amazing project. So I recommend this project.

6 good songs and 2 bad songs. Now this would be amazing as a debut album for him except take out the 2 bad songs which is the intro and the title track. He should’ve had a better production for those songs and add 2 more. I prefer albums with 10 songs. 14 good songs and 7 bad songs. Parliament is the type of artist who isn’t an album artist. I respect him for making a project that reflects him after a 35 year break. He makes the type of music I think everyone should make. Psychedelic RnB and Funk! I think if he makes just 1 more album with 10 songs and has that sound and songs similar to his songs like ‘may we bang’ & ‘colour me funk’ it would’ve been an amazing project. I recommend this project.

"Nah you got the album all wrong. She used a sound bow in all the songs to they promote chakra balancing as well as stress and anxiety. The first part of the album is about a breakup where everything is very raw emotionally, and Jhené finds herself bitter over what happened. As the album progresses she then puts on a front that she doesn’t care anymore, but there’s still a bite to the lyrics that let you know she’s not. After some time she starts to genuinely feel better and notes she feels free, although that quickly comes crashing down as she questions her sanity and trust in herself. Coping mechanisms such as smoking weed come into the picture as she tries to reflect and move on, and then seemingly finds a new love that makes her feel happy again. However, yet again she realizes she wasn’t ready to let go of her past love. This album doesn’t really end with a happy resolve and you’re left in a sort of emotional limbo. "
