“Oxnard” is a fuckin’ awesome record with outstanding production, great collaborators and hilarious writing (Headlow made me laugh my ass off)! Overall, Anderson .Paak is a great presence in the hip hop genre.

“Merrie Land” is like riding an abandoned ferris wheel with the ghost of Damon Albarn and his dummy telling tales of the past. The writing and the instrumentation work extremely well together to create a very melancholic atmosphere for us to delve into, making for an eerie listening experience. This is also some of Albarn’s best work in a while!

Panda Bear provides us with very minimalist and beautiful acoustic pieces on “Young Prayer”. It meanders just a little bit and it's not an essential listen but it’s still a short but sweet avant-folk album.

“Sung Tongs” is a stripped down effort that doesn’t feel compromised. It’s purely an AnCo record throughout with gorgeously textured production, outstanding acoustic instrumentation and great songwriting. Yes, the closer is pretty bad but everything else I found amazing.

LCD Soundsystem’s breakout debut ages very well in their discography. James Murphy’s combination of self aware lyrics and danceable as hell production are still factors that hold up today.

Laura’s songwriting is great and the songs themselves are catchy. It’s not entirely consistent but it’s still a good listen.

I just got some new headphones. The throbbing beats on “Cocoon Crush” were a great test for them! It’s an eerie and strange listen throughout with noises scattering throughout the left and right channels and droning synthesizers. It’s a uniquely unsettling experience overall and one that I do recommend.

While it can feel a little samey after a while, “Holy Hell” features powerful vocals and great instrumentation with some emotional depth coming from the death of a bandmate.

“Glory Sound Prep” has ambition... sort of. But it’s let down by some cringe-worthy lyrics, a very “Pixar”-ish feel and terrible mixing (Especially on Couples Retreat).

Lil Peep doesn’t sell out for his label. His label sells out for Lil Peep. Holy shit! He’s the Chuck Norris of Emo Rap!
Yeah. I’m bored.
It may sound heartless but I just don’t really care that much.
Sorry. R.I.P.

I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME’s debut EP is catchy and fun, if formulaic, with a clever “Lost tapes from the 80’s” concept that’s accompanied by Dallon Weekes’ interesting lyrics. Overall, I’m interested in seeing a full LP from these guys.

Still better than Pig Poker P and Cig Smoker E.
Anyway, this is deep and it's getting the Golden Dab.
“Vespertine” is a beautiful, emotionally powerful record that focuses on Björk’s relationship with Mathew Barney. Her lyrics bring a huge portion of romance, longing and sexual desire to the record that is both hard-hitting and, now that their relationship has ended, heartbreaking.

"Homogenic" is the most uncomfortably beautiful album experience I've ever journeyed through! Everything from the production, Björk’s vocals, the painfully reflective lyrics, they're all perfectly executed here! Overall, this is one of my favorite electronic albums of all time!

The radio concept of "FM!" is very "FUN!", Vince Staples is great here and Earl actually appears on a project for once! The production isn't as experimental or inspired as his other works, though.

I have no idea why I decided to do this as my first album today. I mean, there are a few good satirical moments here and there but everything else failed to even bring a grin to my face and this barely has any music at all. It's mostly just terrible skits. Overall, I think we're getting tired of chasing the D.
