[Note: Yes. I’m torturing myself today. But at least it’s fun because I LOVE making fun of McLevine for screwing with my childhood!]
“It Won’t Be Soon Before Long” ain’t bad. But there is a noticeable dip in quality compared to their debut. The songwriting is mediocre, Adam’s performances are getting a little boring and the album is way too overproduced.

“Time” is a quirky, funny and groovy that, despite borrowing a lot from Louis Cole’s contemporaries, is a very fun Brainfeeder album that I kinda regret waiting 4 months to listen to.

Great
"Monomania" is one of their best albums in my opinion. It's emotionally powerful, well-written, the production techniques are a lot better to the point where it succeeds as a lo-fi record and the continuation from "Twin Fantasy" is very admirable.

The title track is undoubtedly a perfect sci-fi masterpiece! Unfortunately, it’s the only standout track on here and the rest is very inconsistent (though it does has a few cool ideas). Still, “Space Oddity” is a huge step up from Bowie’s debut and it shows growth in his well-known talents.

I mean, it’s interesting to see David Bowie before he found his footing. But the whole album can be pretty obnoxious and terrible at times and I listened to this album with an extremely confused look on my face.
Also, dat haircut.

Zayn is my favorite artist and the only artist I listen to because he totally doesn't sound like every other artist on the radio. How? It's truly ambitious because it copies all the trends that radio pop and R&B artists use like falsetto hooks, millennial whoops, collaborations from other artists, Chainsmokers-esque production and autotune. It totally doesn't sound like any other artist out there. Every song sounds very unique from the last and addresses a variety of deep topics like love, ... read more
It’s like this year was thinking “We spoiled them enough with all these amazing releases. Let’s give them garbage for Christmas.” Thanks a lot, 2018... jackass.
Anyway, it’s not as terrible as “Memories... Do Not Open” but it sure can be at times. The production is generic, the lyrics are cringe-worthy and the fact that The Chainsmokers are trying to stay relevant makes me sick... boy?

“Strawberry Jam” is one of AnCo’s greatest achievements while also being one of their most accessible. The production is beautiful and the lyrics are phenomenal! Avey Tare’s vocals also show a lot of growth from his yelps to his shrill screams.

Holy shit this album...
Okay, “Person Pitch” is probably one of the greatest psychedelic listening experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure of sitting through. The production is beautiful, the lyrics are emotionally powerful, the melodies are blissful and Noah Lennox creates a mysteriously strangely comforting atmosphere throughout the entire album. Overall, I absolutely adored this record!

“NOTM” is probably one of the weirdest and most experimental Death Grips projects. The Björk samples are awesome, MC Ride’s lyrics and vocals are phenomenal here and it stays consistent throughout!

Grave Robbery: The music equivalent to necrophilia. Listening to this album gives the label their moola. In other words, everyone writing reviews for this is pretty much fucked. In fact, why am I even listening to this insulting, unfinished piece of shit and reviewing it?

“Twin Fantasy” is still, in my eyes, one of the most powerful, honest and impactful records out there. The original 2011 release still has so much of that rawness that it’s easy to overlook the messy recording quality.

“My Back Is Killing Me Baby” is a very well-written and fun ”Bandcamp album” that shows further improvement from Will Toledo despite the shitty recording quality (which has also improved). It also has some of Car Seat Headrest CLASSICS, "something soon", "strangers" and "happy news for sadness" especially!

Daveed’s major role in “Hamilton” obviously inspired him to take a cinematic approach to this album while also keeping clipping.’s signature sound intact. This is why “Splendor & Misery” works extremely well. The sci-fi concept is outstandingly told, the lyrics and flows are great and the production is as unique and experimental as ever.
