My little brother wanted me to listen to this album. It can totally rock at times and is good music. I wish it was a bit more exploratory or that the tracks differed from each other more. So I absolutely fucking adore this. Listening to this album, the several times I have, gives me great interest in Morphine, Mark Sandman, and Jazz-Rock as a whole. Pavement is among the greatest bands to ever exist. The perfect masterpiece, although it is second to the imperfect masterpiece that is Wowee Zowee.

A friend of mine recommended me this and god, it’s great. I was not expecting it to be so amazing. TELL ME WHY felt to me like some cross between Pavement and The Cars, which makes sense seeing that apparently they released an album titled Caarrs with a cover incredibly similar to Heartbeat City. I’m SUPPOSED to hate it, it has a lot of qualities I usually hate in albums, in pop punk, in this sort of stuff. It’s so cliche, it’s really not good, I love listening to it. This album is so sick.

Extremely peculiar, but quite nice at times.

A record with some high ass highs, and some low ass lows. There are multiple great songs that do totally new things and can really blow me away, I don’t really hear music like this. There are also songs that are just fucking unbearable, godawful, painful sound.

A charming pleasant-fest that doesn’t really do wrong.

I really enjoyed All of Something. Coming in with a great opener, and ending with a great closer, the album is consistently a really pleasant time. There isn’t really anything particularly mind blowing here (well maybe Bummed Out) but there’s no harsh flaws, no misses, it’s just a real good time. I adore it.
