I think a few songs in the middle are meh but the beginning and end are amazing
As a whole, with the exception of la type, it’s pretty disappointing. I want that classic Kimbra boogie sound
Pretty inconsistent. Some really good ones, and at its best reminds me of Linda Perhacs. But pretty bland elsewhere
I have no clue who Ava Max is, so maybe this is unfair to say when considering her past work, but this is the first album that really sounds like it's been influenced by Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia. Really captures that aerobics, pump up dance pop sound so well. Trails a little in the back, but the first half is BANGER AFTER BANGER
Not sure how to rate this one. On the one hand the production/instrumentation is top notch. There are some really fun catchy songs. On the other hand, the ballads are mostly uninteresting at best and bad at worst. I don't know why she's randomly autotuned. Nowhere near as consistent her debut, which I loved. But it has its moments.
I didn't hate it. Mellow, chill vibes. Not award winning, and not Salad Days or 2, but certainly not bad
Mixed feelings about this one. There are some really good moments but also more than a few duds to me. To be honest, I don't love the vocal performance. But the music around it is so good, I'm not fully sure how to rate it. It could be a grower
