FAVORITE TRACK: Worthless Cheater
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Back from the Dead
Cowboy Music is an intense hardcore and punk record. Guided by the whiny and classic punk vocals, this 21 minute album is an intense ride with hardcore drums and guitar that is entirely fueled by anger.
FAVORITE TRACK: Days Like Lost Dogs
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Beside You
Christian Leave's Heavy Hitting Hurts My Head EP is one of my favorite EP releases of the year. It's so fun and really controlled by the bounciness of the power instrumentals and Leave's great voice. Although I don't like this EP as much as its predecessor, the charm remains throughout Days Like Lost Dogs in Leave's voice and poppy instrumentals.

Hailing from my home state of New Jersey, I've Made Too Much Pasta is the musical stylings of a rock-and-roll raccoon. I became aware of this album because Will Toledo stated having a hand in the making of it. This album is... an album for sure. And I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it.
The vocals on this are not good. There's good aspects- a lot of combinations of 50s and 60s vocal stylings ... read more

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: A Stranger
A beautiful voice guided by vulnerable stories and relaxing instrumentals to create I Know I'm Funny haha.
FAVORITE TRACK: Bare
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Bet My Blood
I really like this. It starts off kinda rocky, especially with the vocals and how annoying the voice infringement is on Bet My Blood. But then the album sounds like a 90s grunge homage with Bare, Pillbug and Devil In Me. Devil In Me has an incredible guitar instrumental and Physical has this beautiful 80s synth sound.
Although it doesn't have a solid footing, Come Down is an impressive project.
FAVORITE TRACK: Out Of Range, Pt. 2
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Love Love Love
I actually never heard a My Morning Jacket song until very recently- it was actually their cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters that really blew me away. So I was intrigued to see what this band had up their sleeves.
The first half of this is really boring. The first two tracks are so painful to get through. But after that, it's alright. It's pretty good psychedelic pop. The 60s sounding piano on Least Expected ... read more

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Beauty In The Bones
So this is a compilation album of all the songs Elton John has done with other artists over quarantine. For the most part, it's the most generic pop music I've ever heard. The few shining moments, though, include The Pink Phantom- which is a Gorillaz track and Nothing Else Matters- a Metallica track covered by Miley Cyrus. Rina Sawayama and Brandi Carlile sound wonderful on this as well as the little use of Dua Lipa on Cold ... read more

Giving Bo Burnham a run for his money for best comedy album of the year.
The production and sound is alright and Comethazine doesn't have a bad flow. But these lyrics are ridiculous. And I hope it's on purpose. Because if Comethazine meant to be this stupid, then oh my god this is a masterpiece. The lyrics on these 18 songs are CRAZY.
No children...ONLY HOES.
FAVORITE TRACK: Legal Ghost
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: The Donkey
Tropical Fuck Storm's new album is not bad but surely a disappointment compared to the incredible two album run they had before this release.
A big complaint I have with this album is the album cover. The album cover definitely doesn't enhance the listening for me, however, TFS is known for this crazy and beautiful album covers with A Laughing Death In Meatspace having one of the best album covers I've ever seen. So to see this as ... read more

High rating for an album with a song titled "Slurpy Slurpy Sleep Sleep" on it.

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Sally
Remi Wolf’s debut LP is one of the most colorful and fun releases of the year. Wolf’s cartoonish and jumpy instrumentals used on tracks Liquor Store, Grumpy Old Man and Street You Live On help set her apart from other artists coming out of this tiktok-short-song saturation in pop music. Wolf also diversifies her music at times when she combines some r&b elements to her music like on Buttermilk and Sexy Villain.

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Where Light Divides the Holler
An intense and frightening metal EP. The animated video for the EP really brings it to life.
FAVORITE TRACK: Larabar
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: On Your Side
This isn't bad, it's just very very boring. There's some highlights but they're sparse throughout the album. However, Wet does have a wonderful voice.

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: I'm Fine
I hate to sound like a broken record but how are the critic ratings so high for this??
There's a lot about this record I really hate. I hate these vocals on I'm Fine. With a lot of these tracks, there's always something really good and really bad. I'm Fine is awful until the end. Fucking Wizardry is good until the bridge. It's just generic electro pop for a lot of it.
However, there are some fun moments on this like ... read more

I take a class on rock and roll history and my teacher told us he used to take hallucinogenics to this album. Great album but do with that information as you will.

Full disclosure, I'm probably going to move this down in score within the next few weeks. I feel a problem Lana Del Rey has in her music is that it looks so shiny to start but then I just never come back to it. This happened with NFR, it happened with Chemtrails and I can feel it's going to happen with this. However, Blue Banisters is an emotional project and a triumphant in lyricism for Del Rey.
