I love everywhere this album went. There were a few songs that ran on too long and some ideas that drug out and had me wishing to skip the track, but when this album worked it really worked and had my head spinning in the best way.
Reminded me a lot of my ketamine infusions. These songs felt like k-holes (which really feel like all of my senses blended and condensed into a free flowing cube. This cube then floats in all directions from “room” to “room”‘s made of ... read more
Sounds very FLAT and boring. I did give this a fair listen.
Lofi beats to study to but worse
I think there is a lot of quality pop rap on this album. Some really fun features and hooks, and though it sounds very dated I have a lot of nostalgia for this album. It was the first rap album my parents let me buy and it got me into a much superior artist’s discography (lil wayne) because of how great is verse on the title track is.
I still think highly of the Taylor swift track here and though this record suffers from a lot of corny hooks and subpar verses, I feel like I respect BOB ... read more
Some great pop rap on here, though I always preferred strange clouds as a kid, and revisiting it I still do.
It’s like if Andre 3000 wasn’t as good of a rapper, made pop music and appealed to 10-14 year old white kids.
This could be so much better if it weren’t for the weird mixing, questionable pop sound, weird features and shitty chorus at attempts for hits. Meh
This album sounds like a portrayal of a dystopian nightmare in the most precise way I’ve ever observed in my life. This album feels like New York in the middle of the pandemic, the darn sonic landscape feels like it’s reflecting the evils of modern capitalism front and center while also serving as a warning for some sort of late-game America apocalypse. This album is scary. Both the lyrics and the production reflect this and there were songs that were so unsettling I had to come ... read more
This is one hour of beautiful and sonically cohesive music centered around aging, being present and dealing with loss. Animal collective sound as fresh and inspired as ever on this album, every track here brings a piece of this psychedelic puzzle to the table to create a very smooth and peaceful journey. This is one of the chillest records in their whole discography with songs like soul capturer, broke zodiac, gem & I, and genies open.
The album felt like I was on a magic carpet and was ... read more

TITTIES TITTIES TITTIES TITTIES
Few good songs. Few amazing verses. I should probably give this like a 45 but I can’t do that to lil Wayne. I just can’t. Lol. I’m convinced there’s some brilliance in these lyrics that I just missed, but as of now I’m feeling like this might be his worst project to date.
But also a lot of awful songs I’ll never listen to again, in all reality there’s probably a ... read more
Generic beats, corny lyrics, my eyes were rolling so hard on almost every track. By the second half I was so bored. I think I liked two songs, fair weather friends was cool and one and only was good.
This was one of the biggest let downs of the year for me.
Liturgy's latest album is an absolute masterpiece, a sonic journey that transcends boundaries and challenges the very essence of what music can be. From start to finish, it's a revelation of creativity and innovation that leaves a profound impact on the listener.
The album's unique blend of genres and experimental soundscapes is nothing short of visionary. Each track is a testament to the band's dedication to pushing the boundaries of music, seamlessly fusing elements of black metal, ... read more
Such beautiful glitch pop/rock. The production is phenomenal and otherworldly, the songwriting and her voice are beyond masterful. She delivers wonderfully written noise and glitch pop songs with ear-worm writing and production coated with a shoegaze-dream pop atmosphere that soaks each song in an airy cloud-like feeling that is full of wonder and mystique. There’s a feeling of their always being more to unpack from this album as it continues to reveal itself to me, there’s a ... read more
Great pop rap album that is wayyy overrated. These songs aren’t anything too special outside of the undeniable highlights (balut, paint the town, and agora hills) but the other songs are not filler. They all have something to offer; wether that be strong and clever bars or pretty melodies. Her singing on some of these tracks is great.
The beats didn’t blow me away outside of demons and skulls and bones; but her lyrics and energy are really the star of the show. Doja proved that she ... read more
Probably my least favorite later-era Mac album.
Most of these songs just don’t really do much for me and they seem needlessly drug out with not enough happening to keep them interesting. Stay, god is sexy and dang are my favorites from the record but even those aren’t even in my top 50 favorite Mac songs. I just don’t care much for the vibe of this album and there are a lot of sexual sound effects and lyrics that make me cringe.
On the upside, there are a lot of smooth ... read more
Not my favorite mac record, I find a lot of the songs to be uninteresting and the trap sound can be a little bland on a lot of these songs. There are of course a lot of great songs here such as perfect circle, 100 grandkids, and weekend but I really never come back to any of these.
My main issue with this album is some of the artistic choices here feel kind of empty and bland for Mac, I know this is a lot of people’s favorite because he is just having fun for the majority of the ... read more
Powerful beyond words. This album moves something deep inside of me that I can’t articulate, but I’m sure that others understand. This is the greatest posthumous release of all time and it feels like the perfect ending to such a strong career.
Mac, you’ve been my best friend since I was 11. I’ve listened to you every year of my life, you were what for me into rap, then you got me into experimental rap with albums like delusional Thomas, then you later me into jazz. ... read more
