Very chill and vibey sound. Can get a little repetitive and samey after a while but the quality never dips
In a Room7 F760 is easily one of the best Aphex Twin tracks since the Syro release. Richard keeps delivering after all these years, awesome EP
Absolutely wild front to back. Acoustic Maria 63 is one of the best TFS songs
Come on, what is this? We've seen from ITRN that Gizz can make good metal and damn the metal bits of the live shows are great. But this? This isn't it. So many tracks felt out of sync or unfinished makes it a real drag to get through. This is anything but a great Gizz album and we all know they're capable of better than this.
Favorite Tracks: Converge, Gila Monster
Least Favorite: Motor Spirit, Supercell, Dragon
Some of the best versions of these tracks are on display here. The 14min Tour De France is absolutely some of their best work. The only thing keeping this from a 10 is the length, at just over 3.5hrs its a lot to get through.
This is a hard album to rate or even talk about. Less a musical piece and more art, its well executed and I'm glad I listened but I don't see myself returning
Absolutely unhinged listening experience. Cant say there are many albums like this
Almost painfully dull, any attempt at atmosphere is just not there. The start is so string but after only two songs it falls off a cliff to the point where just about every song sounds and feels exactly the same.
Rare miss for TFS here. I see what they're trying to get at but in execution it falls flat from their other projects.
Ironically the shorter 4min songs felt longer than the single 9min track
Absolutely wonderful, amazing atmosphere throughout the whole album each song offers something new a different like a new world to explore. I cannot wait to listen again
Underwhelming and overall pretty forgettable. Other than the singles there isn't much on offer here.
Huge turn around for Lil Yachty. The production and flow between songs are incredibly solid, there aren't many down moments and even the quiet ones have excellent pay off (failure). Yachty's voice as well, very unique and works so well. I'm impressed by this and can see myself coming back to this, which is something I never thought i'd say for one of his albums. Also that artwork is excellent
Honestly, it's pretty dull. But its still better than Here Comes The Cowboy
The whole album runs a little longer than it should. Its a good album and a nice experience overall with a super strong second half to bring it all home.
I don't know what he was trying to accomplish with this album. Is he trying to make some deep observations about the modern world? cause all i'm getting is some big boomer energy from the whole thing.
Edit: Do not listen to the tag, this is any but a "must hear" album
Not a bad way to start the year. Overall its a little rough around the edges but offers some great vibes and songs.
I refuse to give this album a numerical score. Theres nothing I can say about this piece of art beyond whats already been discussed and studied. The lyrics hurt and come form the most genuine place. This just hits like nothing else
