A colourful and vibrant album that always feels like it’s bursting out the seems. It cannot be contained, and it’s great for that. But during the album, it felt like the ideas weren’t coming to fruition and it started to seem complaint in what it was. Which for an album like this, I think is a negative. But, it’s still sounds great all throughout
Really cool album. I wish this was a collaborative effort, however because all the guests were for sure the highlights. Not to say that the rest isn’t bad it’s just those guest verses were really damn good. Sometimes the album isn’t very cohesive feeling, but it still all sounds great and is definitely a treat for the ears
This album doesn’t really offer anything new to the table, but it’s really rock solid at what it does offer. Which is some banger garage and psychedelic rock. But it feels like a king gizzard album, and they did this style way better and more interestingly. But this album is still good, except for that cover art wtf is that
Feels kinda self absorbed but I like that. This album is very beautiful both in production and lyrics. Conner is a phenomenal storyteller and I never lost interest during the tracklist. So, hats off to you boys. Loved it
Constantly unimpressive and boring. Drake cannot carry my interest for more than 45 minutes. Let alone an hour and a half. The production is well done, I guess but there’s not a lot of charm or personality around it. It sounds good but lifeless. Drake himself is clearly washed he sounds so uninterested in rapping and singing. Overall, not impressed
A beautiful, triumphant display of instrumentation from the crew. Some arrangements on here are godly, and the singing on here is actually not that bad. It complements the production very well. Although, it’s clear that the crew have not found their peak on here. It shows great musicality, but also great potential. Which I love
Bumps in the whip. Such a fun album with great, bubbly production and Sarah is such a compelling singer and lyricist. I never wanted this to end dawg
Don’t get wrong. This is a good album. With good production and songwriting. But nothing here really stood out to me as phenomenal really. Also I can only listen to so much morrissey before my ears start to hurt. I don’t really see the hype but I think this is a quality album
This album is really all over the place. I don’t like the vocal direction Phil take on this album. He feels like he’s in the background and the songwriting isn’t present face. The production can be cool, but it can get pretty boring too. Also this album is weirdly derivative of nick drake and the velvet underground to me. Yeah I wasn’t a fan
This is a perfect drone album because that’s all it does. It drones on and on and on. It makes for some good background noise but nothing I really wanna dissect because I’d get bored after the first song
Vocals are kinda corny and a bit annoying but I think that helps the songwriting a ton. I can really feel how painful this album is through them. The instrumentation is also very good. A great emo album with some great highlights
Production is rock solid and actually really great at points. The songwriting is pretty cool. And it can be really catchy. But, the vocals on here ruin the entire project for me I can’t stand them. It comes off as so corny and annoying when he’s a troubled person and I feel bad for hating him. Also sometimes the band feels disconnected from one another. It feels like the band is playing a different song than the singer. I don’t know I just didn’t enjoy this album despite ... read more
Wow. Just, wow.
This album may be all over the place. The idea may not come together sonically. But everything just made so much sense to me. I felt desolate lows and euphoric highs. This album really was an experience. All the featured singers did great and the production is wonderful. Loved it and I can’t wait to listen to it more and more
Chris is so relatable. Oh yeah this is also one of the worst albums I’ve ever heard. This album is just Chris chan whining about their life for twenty minutes over guitar hero songs. I swear I lost like half my brain cells listening to this
King gizzy makes another great album. Like the title says, it does sound very fuzzy which I did enjoy. They have great chemistry between each other and the pacing can change at the tip of a dime. Loved it
For the longest time I thought that the cover was somebody giving two thumbs up with bloody hands.
Anyways this album is good because billy woods and elucid are good rappers and the alchemist is a good producer
I found this album to be something fascinating. It’s like I’m looking into some dystopian future but in some crummy apartment with a failing marriage. I do feel closed off in this world and that’s a great thing. But, sometimes the project can be anything but engaging when it throws all of these ideas at you but not all of them stick
Sometimes it has really really great moments and ideas. But the vast majority of music on here is uninteresting and unlistenable mostly. Tyler would be a mediocre rapper if it weren’t for what he’s been up to right now
