Caramell - Supergott
39

Only significance for this thing's existence is the opening track and that's all. The rest is babby music.

Can - Tago Mago

I dance like a catatonic whenever Halleluwah plays. Excellent release.

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha

Minecraft is strangely a lot better when music plays in the background. Whether it be your own music or the OST's, the comfy building game experience is in most cases enhanced, thus even more engaging. However, playing the score without the game barely leaves the mark it does with it. It's about the same with Kenny G's music, you hear it in elevators and suburban restaurants and you barely have a complaint, but once you FOCUS and listen a little part of you dies from boredom.

Burzum - Burzum

This is huh...WOW

Steve Hiett - 渚にて... [Down on the Road by the Beach]
68

Cozy, mostly instrumental record with some soothing soft rock that plays here and there. Lucky find.

Hey Dog Dog - Hey Dog Dog (The First EP)
40

Tumblr furry kids go electro. Unsurprisingly bad.

Joji - In Tongues
48

Melancholic, moody and produced so loosely it could be as effective as a sleeping pill. Good sleeping music, otherwise boring and not easy to connect with.

Les Rallizes Dénudés - '77 Live
79

I don't regret losing some of my hearing to this.

Against All Authority - Destroy What Destroys You
71

Ska Punk with a lot of attitude and a strong sense of anarchy and rebellion. A punk gem.

Converge - Jane Doe
98

One of the most visceral and earth-shattering records I've ever come across. A record the more humiliating life gets for you, the harder it punches you right in the guts and overall system.

I will never forget the first time I heard Concubine in my bootleg headphones amidst the second part of junior high school 3 years ago and feeling absolutely attacked by the abrasive screams and drums; turning it off after the first track feeling "I need another time for this. Judas Priest - Firepower
67

It amazes me how powerful Rob's vocals still hold up at 60+ years old, which is good, cause it brings back that painkiller energy to 2018. A lot of songs do seem to lack originality, though, and can be unmemorable because of that shortcoming.

Pale Waves - ALL THE THINGS I NEVER SAID
65

Art hoe music I'd pretend to adore but abandon alone. At least it's really catchy.

Mount Eerie - Now Only
87

Connects and makes a lot more sense than it's predecessor. Devastating from the first line till the last in the album. A much more mature, realized and grieving album.

71

Punishing, self-loathing, relentless and unforgiving. Some of the angriest music this year.

cv313 - analogue oceans
70

Like jumping head first into a small planet's bottomless pit with audible ambience as you fall.

DJ Healer - Nothing 2 Loose
68

Planet Lonely is great and that's about it. The rest barely have identity or direction.

edit: nah this works as a one piece is noice

El Chombo - Dame Tu Cosita
40

Even the furries over at e621 have this downvoted to oblivion, even lower than a lot of gore, scat, incest, etc. Wouldn't mind it in a party.

Kali Uchis - Isolation
60

Big tit and that's about it.
