Man i love both EA and LUV vs the world 2 so much i can't understand the disrespect that either disc gets and honestly think both have some of uzi's best work.
leaders is the best thing nav has ever been on and he still ruins the song. not by being abysmal but by being boring as fuck as he normally tends to be so its my least favourite song on the disk and even uzi doesn't have an amazing performance. strawberry peels and money spread are 2 of uzi's biggest bangers in their ... read more
uzi work and 5!re are the only solid tracks on here. This album is so unbelievably fucking boring and is easily homixide gang worst project
a whole lotta mid on here too but i actually really like the sound they go for and honestly I think it sucks that they committed more to the rage/metal fusion more than carti did cause this kind of sound has SO much potential.
the highlights like side effext, R50, deathLOK, 2xTREME and 00-mega i think are genuinely great songs but this mixtape doesn't stick with a consistent sound at all
While i don't love this album for the same reason I love pacs prior record or after.
The production is prime G-funk done by some of the best on the coast at the time from dre to daz. so what else to go along with this than some of pacs best and most cut-throat flows and some killer features for the most part. being as this is a double LP some moments on this album is can live without and would actually prefer skipping but for how long this album is, the amount of hits on here is ... read more
i made a comment to a friend last night saying "oh damn, I think I've listened to every major rap album this year" and listed all the 2025 hip hop albums I've listened to (some of which, i haven't reviewed on here yet but imma get to it) and you know what he DIDNT say?
"oh what about the nav project"
only reason I remembered this album is cause I just realised I had a tab open about this album that I'd forgot to close so I thought, may as well knock ... read more
Sza's beautiful voice shines it's best on this project.
her debut studio album, ctrl sees SZA grow into her own as an artist and vocalist. she employs different writing techniques with a lot of inspiration from hip hop but incorporates it in her singing performances and it really helps set her apart from her contemporarys.
sporting an impressive feature list, bouncy and blissful instrumentals and incredible vocal performances from SZA, Ctrl is a wonderful album. Sza's voice ... read more
My favourite LB project in terms of consistency. I dont think it reaches the highs that chocolate starfish but for what it is as a blend between hip hop and metal it's pretty great.
N 2 Gether now has a killer method man feature with a pretty solid preemo beat, Fred durst drags it down a bit but his verses aren't actually bad at all. Nookie and break stuff are some of their best songs and there's some cool moments in the production department through most of the album.

you can hear the life is peachy inspiration. This to many is considered limp bizkits best album and i understand why sometimes because this album has some real highlights. some of wes borlands best riffs, fred durst isnt near as annoying as hed end up being by their 3rd album but this album gets carried HARD by its highlights. people remember the songs like pollution (their best song btw, that FUCKING RIFF), counterfeit, stuck, everything and leech and think that this album is great but it ... read more
I don't even wanna fucking talk about this project. fuck X's label.
only thing I'm gonna mention is School shooters is the worst thing wayne has ever put his hands on and i actually kinda like X's hook as an idea, I just wish he was around to finish it
this album is much longer than 17 and while X fleshed out a lot of ideas and embraced much more of his pre 17 era ideas with the aggressive rapping style with improved mixing and even better rapping performances, this album is such a mixed bag. I dont even speak Spanish lol is probably one of the worst songs this man put out. $$$, smash and pain = best friend are pretty bad too. Floor 555 is a song i like the thought off but can't stand actually listening to.
SAD! is actually a decent cut ... read more
kinda glad this record is as short as it is.
XXXTENTACION was a pioneer in the soundcloud era of rap and gained traction for his song "look at me" along with other songs with similar aggressive delivery's and flows along with ski mask the slump God. so it's funny when you hear that and then go on to listen to an album like this.
Filled with sad lyrics, acoustic guitars and lowkey vocal performances from X, 17 is the debut studio album from the late rapper. Now you're ... read more
So when I heard the college dropout, it reminded me of the miseducation of lauryn hill in a lot of ways. the upbeat and youthful sounding production with the conscious style and the references to school. Why do i say this? well that's cause I think Friday night lights continues this feel and tradition.
J coles 3rd mixtape and often considered his magnum opus and im inclined to agree
I like Fall, royce on not alike and Lucky you but yk what this album is far much worse than i remember.
this album was the first eminem album I was truly tapped in with as it released, kinda grew up with MMLP2 releasing and grew up on recovery, mmlp and TES but my mum was listening to this album a lot when it came out.
I liked it when I was younger but fuck this album is bad. like... really bad. his flows are jagged and overly technical, some of the beats on here are just as choppy as ... read more
This album is just so comfortable, it's like a nice homemade meal.
another reviewer pointed this out, but this album has the conscious feel of his first 2 albums without the aggression (which isn't a critique on those albums, I actually love his aggressive delivery and its one of my favourite things about pac) and is before he fully embraced his thug life persona on all eyez on me and doesn't have the frantic and paranoid feel of the 7 day theory. comparatively this album is ... read more
Thank you so much to my friend for urging me to listen to this album. 10 years after this album released and it's aged like a fine whine... a fine whine that somehow gained sentience and looks you right in your soul. Proving 2015 as genuinely one of the greatest years in music.
this album is a melancholic masterpiece. The vocals are so raw and understated mixed with the vivid first person writing with themes of family, loss, spirituality and religion. couple that with the pretty ... read more
