Holy heckadoodle!
Ok. So... this is supposed to be a 35-minute song yet it never dips in quality throughout the whole thing! I could point out so many pros from this thing. The production is immaculate, the bass grooves are hella danceable, the rest of the instrumental, including the piano parts, is infectious, the vocals from Shinji Sato are great and the whole thing is just fun as hell to just sit back and enjoy!
Those last 5 minutes hit me so hard! D'X
Despite a few filler moments, "Eucalyptus" is a dreamy, beautifully-written album from Avey Tare that returns to the folk-ish roots of early AnCo records while delivering what that band lacked since "Painting With".

"Psyence Fiction" was one of the first introductions to trip-hop for me and I'm glad it is! This is a classic in the genre, probably one of the best trip-hop records period. It has kind of a movie soundtrack feel to it, which is unique for the genre. There's also some pretty big features on here (most notably, Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Richard Ashcroft of The Verve) and plenty of great sampling and genre-blending to eat up!

"The Spoils" is a beautiful track with layered string arrangements and smooth vocals from Hope Sandoval. "Come Near Me", however, is very uninspired, with boring vocals throughout the track.

Massive Attack releases a few of their best tracks yet on "Ritual Spirit". The production is as brooding as always and the features are great!

"Heligoland" lacks the surprise of the first three records, but it's still an atmospheric trip-hop record filled with haunting production and great features (including Damon Albarn!).

While "Don't Feed The Pop Monster" doesn't do anything new to the electropop genre and a couple of tracks drag, it does present some amazing production, solid lyrics and great vocals.

Damn this is good! The production is great, the vocals are sweet and soothing and the instrumentation is just wonderful! Overall, "Gallipoli" is probably gonna be one of the more underrated releases of the year, but you should definitely check this out.

[My 500th Review!]
This is preeeetty damn cool. I picture a looping, animated wallpaper of a badass neon car driving in one of those 80’s retro geometric backgrounds. The production is great here, with cool 80’s synths coupled with booming kick drums present throughout the record. Even though it lacks variety, it’s nice to see some creative minds coming from my state!

"Stuffed & Ready" is a surprisingly great indie record with some immaculate production, layered instrumentation and tight writing! The mixing could use some work in some spots but that's not enough of a flaw to stop me from recommending this.

While it does have pretty solid writing, some decent instrumentation and a great amount of atmosphere, "What Chaos Is Imaginary" is too exhaustively run-of-the-mill to sustain my interest throughout its run-time.

Okay
I mean, Gesaffelstein’s production is great and Abel’s vocals are amazing as always. But the lyrics are fucking atrocious and his contribution to the song is generic. Also, what the fuck is that second verse?!?! Like, holy shit!
Alright, alright, alright. Color me impressed! I think this is the best single she has released thus far. I think the element that surprised me the most is how experimental the production is. If the other tracks are like this, I think I might be looking forward to Billie’s debut.
“De Stijl” is a huge improvement from their debut on all fronts. The flow is great, the songwriting is ingenious, the riffs are incredible and the inclusion of blues elements is outstanding (“Jumble, Jumble” is an obvious example)! Overall, this is The White Stripes’ first big stepping stone to greatness!
