“Cash said eighty for a verse”. Imagine all the other things you could do for $80,000 instead of paying for a shitty phoned-in NAV verse? You could buy like three mid-size Subarus.
This is the epitome of boring and repetitive. This is the album form of melatonin. It’s not even that bad it’s just frustratingly boring.

This was surprisingly one of the best rap projects of 2018. Great production, great features, and great performances from TDE specifically.
Fav Tracks: Black Panther, All The Stars, X, The Ways, Opps, I Am, Paramedic!, Bloody Waters, King’s Dead, Seasons, Big Shot, Pray For Me
Least Fav Tracks: Redemption
While not as good as the first one, this project is still a really enjoyable and really solid trap album that has some great production and catchy hooks and flows.
Fav Tracks: Purple Baguettes, Blue Faces, Lil Bot, Big Ship, It’s A Flex, Talk Nice, Drop Top, Snow Globe, GPS
Least Fav Tracks: Wet Dreams
I think 88GLAM is a great trap project where both 88Camino and Derek Wise bring unique voices and styles together to this cohesive duo that I think works really well. The production is outstanding, and some of the hooks on here are really great too.
Fav Tracks: 12, Bali, Ice On My Leash, Lavish, Big Tymers, Chemistry, Give n Go, Cake, Kyrie, Baby Bro
Least Fav Tracks: Ricardo
Light Of Mine is an incredibly flawed record, but for some reason I just really like it. He does sound like he’s trying to do a Chance impression, and the lyrics are a little corny and cringey, but I actually like this. It’s a pretty good pop-rap album overall.
Fav Tracks: Zoom, Ikuyo, Games, Babies, OpenDoors, Playinwitme, iMissMe, Rodeo, iSpy
Least Fav Tracks: Coming, Going?
Great production from Metro and some great guest features. It’s not the greatest thing I’ve ever heard, but very good overall.
Fav Tracks: Overdue, Don’t Come Out The House, Dreamcatcher, Space Cadet, 10 Freaky Girls, Up To Something, Lesbian, No More, No Complaints
Least Fav Tracks: Only You
Disappointing. Metro did his thing, but I just wish a better rapper was rapping.
Fav Tracks: Go Legend, Big Bidness, Pull Up N Wreck, In Tune, No Hearts, No Love
Least Fav Tracks: So Good
This project is great. The production is dark and haunting, and 21 and Offset do a great job at keeping that vibe up. Just a quality project with a great dark atmosphere.
Fav Tracks: Ghostface Killers, Ric Flair Drip, My Choppa Hate N****s, Nightmare, Disrespectful, Run Up The Racks, Darth Vader
Least Fav Tracks: Mad Stalkers
Issa is a disappointing release from 21, as it is nowhere as interesting or as dark as Savage Mode or as his later releases. There are some great highlights, but there are too many bad or boring moments to make it worth it.
Fav Tracks: Bank Account, Bad Business, FaceTime, Nothin New, Numb, Dead People
Least Fav Tracks: Close My Eyes, Thug Life, Money Convo, Special, 7 Min Freestyle
Metro’s dark production mixed with 21’s cold delivery makes this a haunting and dark listen. I love the atmosphere and vibe of this project.
Fav Tracks: No Heart, X, Savage Mode, Bad Guy, Real Ni**a, Mad High, Feel It, Ocean Drive
Least Fav Track: No Advance
DiCaprio 2 showcases JID’s immense rapping ability and his songwriting potential. His flows are outstanding, the production is amazing, and the features are really good too. Overall, this is just a great rap album that sets JID up to be one of the biggest rappers of the next decade.
Fav Tracks: Slick Talk, Westbrook, Off Deez, 151 Rum, Workin Out, Skrawberries, Hot Box, Mounted Up, Hasta Luego
Least Fav Tracks: Tiiied
I really think J.I.D is gonna be one of the biggest rappers of the 2020s. He really has that potential, and The Never Story showcases it. The songwriting isn’t as fully developed as DiCaprio 2, and he sounds a little too much like his influences at some points, but this album is still really impressive.
Fav Tracks: General, NEVER, EdEddnEddy, D/vision, Underwear, Hoodbooger, Somebody, LAUDER
Least Fav Track: All Bad (although I like it)
From the title, I was expecting some throwaway tracks that didn’t make his album from earlier this year, which I already wasn’t really a fan of. Instead, I actually think this collection of tracks is a little better than his last album. This still isn’t really my thing, but for what it is it’s not bad.
Fav Tracks: Si Ella Sale, Más De Una Cita, Bye Me Fui, Bendiciones, Cómo Se Siente (Remix), En Casita
Least Fav Tracks: Canción Con Yandel
TA13OO is one of my favorite albums of the decade. It has some incredible production, and Denzel showcases his ability to craft amazingly catchy and hard-hitting songs, as well as more melodic and topical songs as well. This is just all-around amazing body of work that really capitalizes on Denzel’s immense potential.
Fav Tracks: TABOO | TA13OO, BLACK BALLOONS | 13LACK 13ALLOONS, CASH MANIAC | CAZH MAN1AC, SUMO | ZUMO, SWITCH IT UP | ZWITCH IT UP, MAD I GOT IT | MAD 1 GOT 1T, SIRENZ | ... read more
It’s a short EP, but it has some hard production and some good performances from Denzel. It’s not his best work, but still very enjoyable.
Fav Tracks: Hate Government, Equalizer, Zeltron 6 Billion
Least Fav Tracks: None
Imperial is the first project from Denzel that really clicked with me. He seamlessly transitions from hard hitting bangers to more introspective tracks on here and he does them both masterfully. The production is also really great on here. One of the best trap-rap albums of 2016 for sure.
Fav Tracks: Ult, G**k, Knotty Head, Story: No Title, This Life, Zenith, Good Night, If Tomorrow’s Not Here
Least Fav Tracks: Me Now
This is my favorite Ariana Grande project. Between the quirky Pharrell production, the great songwriting, and Ariana’s great performances, this album is a special listen that is one of my favorite pop albums of the decade.
Fav Tracks: blazed, the light is coming, R.E.M, God is a woman, sweetener, every time, breathin, no tears left to cry, better off
Least Fav Track: successful
Dangerous Woman is all over the place stylistically, but I think it actually helps the album. This album is consistently well-written, well-produced, and features some of Ariana’s best vocal performances. She sounds more confident than ever, and it definitely comes across in the music.
Fav Tracks: Moonlight, Dangerous Woman, Be Alright, Into You, Side To Side, Let Me Love You, Greedy, Leave Me Lonely, Everyday, Bad Decisions
Least Fav Track: Know Better / Forever Boy
My Everything is a step up from Yours Truly, as it features some of Ariana’s best songs, but still doesn’t feel like her sound was fully realized yet.
Fav Tracks: Problem, One Last Time, Break Free, Be My Baby, Break Your Heart Right Back, Love Me Harder, Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart
Least Fav Tracks: Hands On Me
While it is her worst album, it was only her first and it still features some great highlights. There are too many just ok songs on here though, and it definitely doesn’t feel like her sound was fully fleshed out yet.
Fav Tracks: Right There, Lovin’ It, The Way, You’ll Never Know
Least Fav Track: Popular Song
