This has been the strangest month of my entire life. What the actual fuck is going on? Coronavirus, new Weeknd, new Gambino, & new Uzi?
It’s a strange rollout, and I’m a little confused. I was so excited for a Gambino album, and I’m glad it’s here, but it all feels a little....off? I was expecting a traditional album rollout, but this just feels confusing. I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. But the music is very good, so I don’t know how to ... read more
HOLY FUCK
The production is stellar, and the songwriting is impeccable. The tracklist flows insanely well and perfectly blends every album of his into this ridiculously good body of work.
There’s so much to unpack it’s overwhelming.
Full review soon.
A very good and very solid EP from Abel, but nothing we haven’t heard before. Sounds like exactly what it was, a project in between albums to keep fans happy and perform at Coachella.

I love this shit.
I get why people don’t. It’s too long, there’s a lot of filler, and it’s pretty poppy. Despite that, I think some of his best songs are on here and I like most of the ones on here, even if they could be cut.
Fav Tracks: Starboy, Party Monster, False Alarm, Reminder, Secrets, Sidewalks, Six Feet Under, Attention, Ordinary Life, Die For You, I Feel It Coming
Least Fav Tracks: Rockin, Stargirl Interlude, Nothing Without You
An album that I slept on for years, but holy fuck this is phenomenal.
Yeah the songs are long, and it’s harder to really get into, but once it clicked with me I was obsessed. This album is his most cohesive, dark, but beautiful album to date. It may not be my favorite, but this is incredible.
Let’s hope Abel can reach this level of cohesiveness on After Hours.

Edit: Yeah, I have barely returned to this. It definitely has grown off me a bit.
Original review:
I have never heard a song that hit me like A.P.I.D.T.A did. Wow.
This album has blown me away. I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t really know who he was before this, but holy shit was this good. I’m speechless.

I love some good idiotic and memey rap once in a while, and Blueface was somebody who dropped some good songs in this vein. None of his projects were ever all that good, but he had the potential to drop some good tracks. Lately, I’ve felt like his shtick was getting annoying and that his novelty was wearing out, but this album surprised me.
I like that he expanded his production, and he isn’t just rapping on shitty piano west coast beats that a 12 year old made on FL Studio ... read more
He’s still around? Why? What the fuck does Rich The Kid bring to the table? Dude dropped one dope song like two years ago lmao. Also, the label really got all of these big name feature on this shit??
This is the definition of recycled, uninspired, and standard trap. It’s not even all that terrible, it’s just SOOOOOO average. I can’t even tell when one song ends and the other begins. I just zone out, but maybe that’s its purpose I guess.

I don’t even have much to say about this. It’s not bad, and there are some good songs, but it’s pretty mid overall. It’s just kinda basic and boring. Maybe if this didn’t drop so close to EA I would have cared more. It’s kinda cool to hear the CDQ of some of his most popular snippets, but it’s just overall not all that interesting, even if it’s pretty decent as far as trap albums go.

Ever since I heard his stellar feature on Astroworld, I’ve been following Don Toliver and have been awaiting his debut album. I saw his immense potential and hoped he could channel it into a full body of work. This hope grew even stronger after hearing his contributions on JACKBOYS, on which I thought he was the standout. Going into this I was pretty excited, as I saw it was pretty short and didn’t have the recent trap album necessities (the Gunna feature, the song designed for ... read more
This is a loooooong review for me, so if you want the TL;DR, here it is:
EA is enjoyable, but ultimately disappointing due to the insane hype and expectations. It’s basic Uzi, which if it’s your thing, it will be enjoyable. It’s just ends up being too long and the first half is a little too boring for it to reach its full potential.
Ok. Here’s my way too long review:
Uzi has never been one of my favorite trap artists, but I’ve always been able to enjoy his ... read more
As somebody who really enjoyed Fever, I’m honestly a little disappointed with this. It isn’t bad at all, it’s just more watered down and less interesting than Fever. It’s not as aggressive, catchy, or memorable as I was hoping for, and the production is significantly less interesting than on Fever. I’m also not generally a huge fun of her more melodic tracks, and for the most part that trend continues on here. This is by no means a bad project, it’s just not ... read more
While it doesn’t have the high points Luv Is Rage 2 might have for me, this is a very enjoyable project that is short and straight to the point.
Fav Tracks: Money Longer, Grab The Wheel, You Was Right, Ps & Qs
Least Fav Tracks: Scott and Ramona
It’s not the best project I’ve ever heard, and it’s not Uzi’s best, but it definitely showed a lot of potential that he would later capitalize on. It's a lot more agressive than his later projects, but I think he does this sound well. But as much as I may enjoy some of this, it is a little forgettable and I haven't really returned to it often.
Fav Tracks: Safe House, 7AM, Yamborghini Dream, Top, All My Chains, Enemies, Ballin, Paradise

Coming back to this in 2020 makes me appreciate this album even more. I completely understand all of the criticisms of it, but personally I really enjoy this album. When this dropped in 2017 I thought it was decent, but I didn’t love it. As the years have passed the album has aged well, and listening to it in full with Eternal Atake (hopefully) coming soon has me excited.
The production has a cool little psychedelic vibe and I think it’s probably the highlight on here for me. It ... read more
Why? Why did Princess Nokia think releasing this was a good idea? This is especially disappointing considering that I really enjoy Everything Is Beautiful. But while I’m not a fan of this album, it isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever heard. It’s just confusingly boring and pointless.
Fav Tracks: Gross, Balenciaga
Least Fav Tracks: Crazy House, Woes, Just A Kid
This was the second full project I had heard from Princess Nokia (after Everything Sucks, which does kinda suck), and I’m kinda impressed. Maybe my disappointment of the last album is making me enjoy this a little more, but I just like what Princess Nokia did on here. I’m getting heavy Tierra Whack vibes from this and I enjoy it. The production is kinda quirky and I enjoy the performances from Nokia. How the same artist made this and Everything Sucks is shocking. This isn’t ... read more
I’ve never really understood why Lil Baby was popular. Sure, he’s not the worst trap artist I’ve ever heard, but what makes him special? I always just seen him as somebody who is incredibly average but can occasionally come through with a decent feature or a song that I can enjoy once in a while. I wasn’t really expecting much from this album, and I guess I was right to.
Think about what a 20 track Lil Baby album would be like. That’s what this is. An incredibly ... read more
Honestly, I’m really upset that Royce is spreading this anti-vax shit, which is incredibly dangerous and incredibly stupid. Even if I thought this album was good (which I don’t), that would ruin it for me.
This album is so long. There are too many interludes and skits too, and it all just feels a little boring and underwhelming. The production is ok, and Royce’s rapping is ok, but nothing really stands out to me. I just personally don’t get much from this album, and the ... read more
While the album had some potential, apart from a few good songs, this album is just mostly standard and bland. This really just makes it a pretty boring listen as a whole, even if there are some enjoyable moments.
